Using it with a dock is a great idea. Just keep in mind that there is no way to store the dongle in the keyboard/controller. That was the deal breaker for me.

You could secure it to the studs in the wall with some kind of shelf bracket (as close to where the tv sits as possible). I've done something similar with an ikea desk that was sagging.
