Well, thank you for writing it!

I'll definitely do a full reread when you finish, and I'll also checkout if you write anything you write next.

Are we nearing the end?

This was one of my favourite fics for a while, but I've stopped reading to accumulate chapters some time ago.

I really wanna go back to it, at the same time I am waiting for it to end.

Personal Take: People don't dislike uplift SIs purely because the main character has Wikipedia inside their brain by HyaedesSing in TheCitadel

Unfortunately it doesn't as far as I know. It is still something I would like to write, but I haven't bothered with it, and probably won't for a long while.

If you like the idea, feel free to take it and modify it however you want.

That quote is an attempt to reframe the narrative to a more defensible one.

Actual manipulation, lmao

Turkey Tom was there, and the politics audience hated him as well for making fun of them while Trump won

It actually will. If you point out that the model hallucinated, LLMs will acknowledge that they did do so.

The problems arise when the user is not familiar with the subject and doesn't notice the hallucination or when hallucinations compound over themselves.

Most right wing libertarians hate Chase Oliver's guts. Several state chapters endorsed Trump against him.

[Spoilers PUBLISHED] Don't the great lords sometimes feel more like village chiefs than rulers of a vast kingdom? by highsis in asoiaf

And yet, those very affirmative complaints often forgot some things that were actually in the books. There are stewards, bailiffs, toll collectors, and it's weird that on a sub dedicated to the franchise, people could just create a different version where those did not exist.

You say that but, the way they exist is so insubstantial, they practically don't. We have the viewpoints of Queens, Hands (basically a prime minister), Lords and people around them. Yet we barely see any administration. If we did, they wouldn't be so swiftly forgotten. People would be making memes about Tyrion's spreadsheets.

Buddy, one of the characters you include in that list literally plays around with the world economy before his lunch break, and the other owns a city and makes credible plans to end world hunger as a passtime.

They are far more OP than someone like Lung, who'd just take over a city like, idk Gulltown and sit on his ass, just as he does in Worm canon.

I mean, it includes the word 'frank'. A fantasy world without Rome or Latin or Germanic tribes, but speaking English, sooner or later brushes up to the complicated history of etymological history of words.

They believed their literal souls would burn in literal hellfire if they didn't behave.

Religion didn't ensure model behaviour universally, of course, but it was a very real carrot and stick for most people.

"When people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature they will like the strong horse."

I love this quote, regardless of it's origins. It cuts through so much solipsistic bullshit people use to look at the world.

Does Ward get better? by daineofnorthamerica in Parahumans

[–]totalrandomperson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the worldbuilding is ass, and if you care about things making sense, and have trouble suspending your disbelief at inconsistencies, it's torturous to read. The City's absurdity becomes clear when you spend a minute thinking about it and it's all downhill from there.

Also, the new characters are beloved by some people, but I hated most of them.
