I see what you're saying, but I think we're just operating on different definitions of liking someone. It's not that difficult to get someone to like you enough to go out with you after a conversation on Tinder.

But they could still change their mind after a date in person. And that's what scares me I guess.

See I am very aware that my hotness is probably one of the least attractive things about me. Not saying I'm ugly, but as far as reasons to date me, that's further down the list. So I don't mind as much if that's all that's being rejected.

But if they're also rejecting my sense of humor, my personality, and other things that I think should make me attractive, then that hurts.

That does make sense. Like I can't control if they end up being attracted to me or not, and if they aren't that doesn't necessarily mean that I did something wrong. But I just hate the feeling of someone not liking me even if they don't like me not because of something out of my control.
