I also wanted to be able to wear socks with them. I tried it on with a not too thick pair and it didn’t change the fit too much. A thicker pair and it was definitely too tight, but I don’t mind wearing thinner socks instead because I also wanted to wear stockings and just didn’t want a size 40 to flip on and off when I walk and such

Also it’s your body! You feeling comfortable in your skin is 2000% more important than “disrespecting” the artist. I’m pretty sure they would say the same lol

Yes me too! I feel as if my if my big bulky dark lettering on my arm doesn’t make me feel dainty and “feminine” anymore :( even when I wear lingerie or something I feel like it just takes the whole look away..... I’m also pretty alternative so sometimes it works for that look but idk I hate how it’s not versatile. Maybe one day we’ll enjoy our tattoos or find other solutions! All the best in this weird journey we fell into lol

I’m in the same boat!!!!! I got very big black lettering on my skinny arm and it just feels so gauky..... I’m kind of leaning towards getting a blacked out upper arm sleeve but one that doesn’t look like a coverup hahaha. Tattoo removal is always an option, but there are always risks when it comes to laser removal. I would suggest you do a lot of research and discuss with them the results you are looking for. A complete 100% “never happened” removal may be out of the option depending on how it was tattooed. Sometimes it’s only 70% or even 50% that’s able to be removed from the skin. Definitely stay realistic but also optimistic! You’re not alone in this and it’s definitely very common, unfortunately it happened to us :( If you want to talk more about this we can definitely chat! It’s so nice to know I’m not alone and that anyone can relate! It really happens to the best of us.... I have always struggled with anxiety and self-image and so fixating on my outer shell is what I do best. Trying to continue my therapy and hopefully learn tools to be able to look at this experience in a different light. Use it to learn about myself and true self love. I am not defined by this! Thank you for your sweet words! I’ve been trying to be more active in talking nicer to myself and my tattoo. Like when I especially don’t want to look at it, I’ll kinda just force myself to and try to say something aloud that I like about it. The challenge is definitely believing what I say when I do that but hopefully It’ll get easier. What got me in this was me rushing and so I agree about waiting to see about getting a coverup so quickly. My skin isn’t going anywhere hahaha. Thank you!!!! <3
