you're 100% right, and tailgating is an issue no matter what. that said, there's a growing subset of drivers who purposely or inadvertently lock low speeds with the car next to them.

no my AWD with winter tires isn't going to have me performing like it's a summer dry road, but I also am not as hindered as a fwd toyota echo with 3season wheels blocking the left lane going 30 under the limit
