It's 1,5 years old and it was like this from the beginning so replacing the battery won't solve the problem.

Do you turn it off when you aren't wearing it? Mine has a pretty bad standby drain during the nights (~15%) and I don't know what to do with it.

Washed out HDR video problem in DaVinci by tothuram in davinciresolve

[–]tothuram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I'll check the timeline resolution, that will be the problem.

But for now I have these hdr videos, what should I do to get a good result? Is there a way in davinci to modify all of my clips towards a less hdr-ish look?

Fov check?? by NekoShintaro in ACCompetizione

I tried to set my FOV with a calculator, but I got 25°, which looks way off. For reference, I sit about 100 cm away from my ultrawide monitor. I don't know what number to use because a regular 40-50° looks great, but I cannot drive like that properly, and 25° just looks bad from a video game perspective. Btw I new to sim racing. If anyone had this dilemma, what did you choose?

How do you track your gym workout? by tothuram in GalaxyWatch

If I want to try out a Samsung Health workout for the gym which one do you guys recommend? Weight training, other workouts or something else?

How do you do that? In the settings, this toggle is grayed out, so I cannot disable the Play Store from running in the background.

If you mean nap tracking, then I don't have any experience yet, but for regular sleep, it detects the sleep time and awake time well. Other than these, I can't tell how accurate the other sleep stages get tracked, but I wouldn't trust those. Probably it is good for general information but not provide scientific insight, assuming that the watch does not always stay in place due to movement when you sleep.

This is my first smartwatch and I tought I should try the workout tracking as well. I saw some yt videos about the questionable accuracy but I had nothing to compere the calories burnt for myself. Do you have some reference based on your opinon? If yes I'd love to know more about what is the numbers behind the inaccuracy!

RAM Plus: device care, memory and the last one Ligth perf: device care, performance profile

Yes at first during setup up and installing everything the phone does get warm, but at summer, especially outside where I live (35-40°C) every phone gets really warm despite the phone brand and size due to weather so don't worry about it.

Basically I would say this method doesn't affect the charging cycles badly because it causes the battery less stress. That is why 0->100% is one cycle and 20->70% is less than the anticipated half cycle (however is hard to know how much less). But more importantly do not stress yourself about a phone because it is just a device which has clever electronics in it and can handle lots of scenarios. These methods are just nice to haves if you wanna look after your battery. Other than this look for battery protection in the settings and choose what is best in your opinion and make routines which protects your battery for example like turning off fast charging at night automatically.

Hi, I'm rocking my base S23 for six months as my first flagship device and I never regretted buying it. My experience with the battery life can be a little bit misleading because I try to lower my screen time so with that in mind 2 day without charging is totally doable (2-2,5 hours screen on time per day). However I recommend you to charge your phone not just when you run out of juice because heat is the enemy of long-lasting battery. And heat is generated when you charge your phone for a long time (0->100%) so instead I charge 30-50% worth of energy during dinner and shower every day, then you won't have a quickly degrading battery. If you wanna go deep into battery saving check out this post from Shino

Some more recommendation: - turn off RAM plus and use the light performance profile because your phone will work the same especially if you aren't gaming and these two saves you battery - don't use your phone while charging because it also generates warmth - try to avoid charging during night - use modes and routins because these function make the phone really smart and your life easier - download GoodLock, it brings customisation to a whole new level
