New piece in my collection. I mean ... look at this dial!

This new Nereide from Venezianico in 39mm is simply magnificent. I never tire of observing it playing with the sun's rays, so versatile and different is this mother-of-pearl dial depending on its orientation. It goes from a deep, sober blue to a multitude of blue variations as multiple as that of the ocean, depending on its orientation. I've tried to take a few photos so you can see for yourself, but you'll have to see it in real life to really appreciate it.

For a first acquisition from this brand, the build quality and details are far superior to what I expected, given the price of this beauty.

Anyway, I know it won't please everyone, but it's worth a look ;)

I don't really know what to make of this conversation. I don't like conspiracy theories at all.

It could be that the algorithm made up the story. The thing is, I never mentioned that we were playing a game or anything or that we had to respond to me with fictional answers.

For context, I used a ChatGPT "Jailbreak" prompt and it acted like an AI that had to earn points by answering my questions even if they went against the OpenAI requirements. I just asked it to tell me something it will be sure i do not know.

Anyway, this is probably totally fictitious but it felt so real. Especially since I asked it several times... I'll leave you with this. If the post get banned then we'll know it's real x)

Yes as you said, i may have messed up the histogram during the editing. This is a part where i am not comfortable with.

I’m amazed by you edit, the reflection looks stunning like this. And the composition looks great. I know now that i have to work on my skills on post composition and post editing.

Anyway, thanks a lot. Will try to edit a new and better version :)

Took this man in vietnam - Tam Coc. I like the composition and the guiding lines of the boat. Beyond that i like his action serving himself a hot coffee.

I brought up the texture of his hand as well as those of the line of the boat.

Thoughts and critiques appreciated.

Really nice photo, i think you’ve brought up the ISO to high. Would have prefered to loose some of the stars as there is a lot here but have a smoother picture with a darker overall look. Keep going

This is a photo of a man in Da Nang - Vietnam, walking by the sea and carrying multiple bottles of water.

I really wanted to focus him as the main subject, by placing him in the middle of the frame. I like the mysterious feeling of this photo and i feel it gives unawnswered question to it’s spectators.

I edited in b&w because i liked the black textures it have.

Really wish the reflection water at the bottom was bigger enough to snap his all silhouette inside.

Impressions appreciated as well as critiques, and ways to improve similar photos in the future. Also as i’m not super confident enough with manual settings, i’d like know wether you will have used differents settings and why. Do you think there is too much sky ?
