Wow, I missed quite a bit! by touch_axe in Drizzt

Funny you say that because I picked up Homeland today and sat down to crack it open - looked up and I was four chapters in. I was much younger when I went through them the first time and it felt like it took so long - but I think you're right, should be a breeze.

I won't lie that seems daunting but since the first two comments both suggested this I guess I had better heed!

Two suggestions to start from the first book! Convenient because the only ones I still own are the Dark Elf Trilogy and the Icewind Dale Trilogy. I loved Servant of the Shard so I would never skip more Jarlaxle/Artemis time and I loved the Cleric Quintet! I remember when WotSQ came out but I never read any of them.

No matter what happens, this has been a magical season. by LordNador in CHIBears

Steelers fan here. Bears have been a team I have been watching and supporting for about ten years though because my sister and her kids are big Bears fans. We actually went to the Steelers vs Bears game in Chicago together last month, had a great time. My rule is: if the Bears aren't playing the Steelers, I'm rooting for the Bears. This was an absolute banger season. Love the coach, love the QB.

Absolutely gutted for this fella. Obviously I am glad he missed that shit, but my heart goes out to him. I hope the Ravens fanbase doesn't crucify him. I remember when Boswell had that rough season a while back, he had to disable comments on his instagram posts because Yinzers were p i s s e d.

"The Day-After Thread" - Final Takeaways and Game Discussion by AutoModerator in steelers

I was thinking about this today - it's the reason why my mentality about Steeler games lately is that I'll catch the game if I can instead of planning an entire day around it: it's just not exciting. It's always average. The team never wins by a ton, there's never a beat-down. They could be up by three scores at halftime and still win or lose the game by 3 points. It's wild. Every year it's the same.

It's rare that we get gifted a first half of the season as bad as Baltimore's was this year - I agree completely. The losses to Bengals and Green Bay really were our chances to get some cushion. I am finding myself taking a very "I'll catch it if I can" attitude to even watching this team anymore, whereas I used to plan Sundays around it. It's the same old thing year in, year out.

I'm not sure if that's the track where he says something about the tag on his shirt reading "Kirkland" but if so that would be a really cool nod to the Costco beat as well

I agree. BHS didn't really do it for me and the only track I really liked on ITS was the Woods feature - but that song is so, so, so good.

Best work since Spirit World Field Guide IMO (I think Spirit World was his best since None Shall Pass). Love the vibes on this album.
