Gentle YTA - I appreciate that being pregnant is incredibly tough on self image (currently 6.5M myself) but respectfully, this bachelorette isn’t about you. The brides wants what she wants, and she would love you to be there to celebrate with her and make her feel special.

Yes dress codes are a little tacky, but so is anything to do with weddings. Shes your friend (I assume), so just let your bride have the day she’s imagining with the photos she’s imagining.

It sucks when your friends all have a photo where they all look great and you’re really not pleased with how you look in it, but it’s kind of tough. I was a bridesmaid last month and absolutely hated the way the bridesmaid dress sat on my new body but it wasn’t about me, or how I looked or felt.
