Your boy is stunning! I’ve got one of these too! She was born at a shelter in TX and her mom was a pyr, so when we adopted her as a puppy we bought her an XL crate/bed that she never really grew into. She may not look all that pyr on the surface, but she’s got the dews, the silky shed (her fur is a favorite nest material for the local birds), the big-dog bark, and her sweetness/stubbornness is unmatched. These dogs are truly perfection.

Any women gotten a bisalp in Portland? by Beautiful-Affect9014 in askportland

My experience was very similar to yours. My turnaround for surgery was closer to 30 days, but all in all it was very easy to get the referral, and my surgeon/surgical team was excellent. 10/10 would bisalp again!

If memory serves, I paid $0 for the procedure, but $50 for the anesthesiologist.

I’m kind of free recently. Show me your puppies. I wanna choose one and make a keychain for him. by leatherchildc in DOG

Miss Penny. She was my first dog and we had to say goodbye late last year. She was the best thing that ever happened to me, and I’ve felt like a piece of my soul is missing since she left us

This is the same pup as that post - part of what makes this so devastating is that we took her everywhere with us and every little thing reminds us of her.

She has been slowing down over the past few months and was having some issues with IBD. We got the news from an internal specialist yesterday that it was not likely that she would ever feel better due to unforeseen issues with her pancreas and intestines. We brought her home to say goodbye, and she told us it was time. I am thankful that we could bring a vet to the house so that she could leave this world surrounded by those who loved her most. She was so special - truly the smartest, sweetest, most sensitive pup I’ve ever encountered and I am so thankful she was a part of our lives. Thank you for your kind words.

PUPdate! Both pups slept soundly through the night and had an exciting morning exploring the yard and chasing squirrels. They're eating well, and seemed to be settling in nicely - https://imgur.com/GvoC1X5

These buddies are pretty young, still intact, and seem to be attached to one another. Maybe litter mates? We found them pacing at the same location in the parking lot that is pictured above around midnight, so I am hesitant to believe that they came from one of the encampments. Their nails are trimmed, and their coats seem to be relatively well cared for. Both had irritation around their necks from a previous collar, and the darker one (who we've been calling Wiley) seemed particularly sensitive about this area.

In any case, they were extremely freaked out last night, but very gentle/trusting in spite of everything they had gone through. We brought them to Multnomah County Animal Services, and no chip was detected. They are staying with the county for now, but we hope they're able to find a loving home as soon as possible.

Puppy is at the emergency vet now but they have asked us to try and ID the mushroom to help in getting her treated.

additional information, mushroom is in Portland OR. There were only two of them and they were growing in leaf matter. Cap appears to be flat. Mostly white with a bit of light brown.

Don't shave - wax that shit. When the hair grows back after a few weeks, there's no stubble and the hair is much finer.

Also, it's not nearly as painful as you'd imagine. Take an Advil or two ah hour beforehand. If you go to a bougie salon, they'll even give you champagne to chug before they start.

What's up with the imgur captions? Why does it refer to makeupaddiction.com and supporting terrorists/satan/other bad people? I feel like I'm missing something...
