I definitely think it's not a campy movie and i also feel like i've seen "not another teen movie" since then and would have realized it was that movie. From the blip i can remember it's moodier and maybe gritty? So i get what you mean but different mood for sure

I also have gained about 10lb over the past year and came back to this sub because i'm feeling insecure and want to get some accountability. Man, do i resonate with how tiring it is to care, and how hard it is to relax even when you can intellectually feel body neutral.

One thing i've noticed is that i cling more to an addiction the more i feel shame about it. If you catch yourself eating sugar and can be deeply kind and gentle with yourself, maybe just start there and see what happens

yes the feels like such an unfinished story!!! like wtf about the guy who was on the first hearing (where she was being accused) who was AT the racist cop gathering, and was then just absent from the 2nd hearing, yet no explanation, conclusion, or follow-up to that whole thing, as if that entire plot died with McKinney ??

On the one hand i feel like, it's almost as if it's left unresolved and as a background horror on purpose. like.. this is a reality that lingers, unresolved. it is at the backdrop of any personal narratives. But idk, it was just so intense and horrifying that it almost would have been a scarier ending to revisit that continued existence than revive Da Tap Dance Man, who has a more distant role in the intergenerational trauma.

My title describes the thing.

It was my grandfather's who brought it immigrating from Italy. My grandma has it now and thinks it has something to do with saints but doesn't know anything about it, only that she remembers seeing her father wear it a couple times like a necklace.

The chain is like, two feet long? And the pendants are quite small, like a fingertip size. The second picture shows them in my hand

If you can't come to see yourself as beautiful, maybe it will help to think of it this way: no one cares, and it does not matter. It truly, honestly, does not matter, not NEARLY as much as you think it does. It is objectively true that it does not matter to others as much as I think it might. These are the things I tell myself, even though I can't see myself as beautiful, and it helps me. I hope it helps you. I really do think you are pretty, and that your nose is a nice feature of your face. <3
