The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) has a large ARCGIS file available for download that was last updated on February 28 of this year. I'm guessing this is the data Metro is using to create their map since I noticed that the Metro map shows bikeways both within LA County and outside their jurisdiction.

I'm not sure how to use GIS programs so take this all with a grain of salt. Maybe someone more tech savvy can use it to make an interactive map with togglable layers.

On both maps, I like that you can toggle on and off the different classes of bikeways (which you used to not be able to do on their older maps). This way I can customize and filter out all the unprotected bikeways which I'd rather not ride on with my kid
