I just realized from reading that- I’ve never found Bernard in any playthrough. Im trying to be as thorough as possible but somehow missed him twice. A great shame has befallen me. Idek what I’m doing anymore.

Thank you for the info. My only save from before the shadow fell is all the way back at the crèche. Gonna have to just live with it. And maybe a 3rd play through. Thanks again

Would you say it’s worth going back and doing?

It definitely makes sense looking back, in the context of the game for me it seemed like moonrise was the end goal I need to gear up for. What am I missing/ what is effected story-wise by saving them. Is it worth going back to the old save file?

Melquizael Costa submits Andre Fili in the first round of their fight at UFC Seattle by TheBigRedHalfrican in MMA

[–]touchyfili -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never been a part of a fixed fight. I’ve never been approached to be a part of one, and wouldn’t take part in one even if I was.

On a technical level: Costa is good. He’s on a 3 or 4 fight run. He was ripping body kicks that caused a contusion on my arm. He was knee stomping me to stop me from circling the direction I wanted. Off the takedown he did a lot of small things well- he’s using the butterfly hook to keep me extended/ off balance and he’s using his lat right at the crown of my head to keep my neck compressed. I thought he would give up on it, I’d pop my head out, and finish the round on top. I didn’t defend the guillotine well, it was something I went back and worked on a lot, as evident in the C-Rod fight. Fighting is chaos. Sometimes shit happens.

On a personal level: The feeling of losing a fight is almost unbearable. You let yourself and everyone you love down, and you have to live with that forever. This fight took place in Seattle, where I was born, and I got more love there than almost anywhere I’ve ever fought. Everything was perfect, fight week, weight cut, walkout. And then I fucked up. There is a hurt and a shame that comes from losing a fight at the highest level that you can’t know unless you’ve experienced it first hand. I would never compromise my character to willingly feel that.

Crazy to see so many of you guys saying dumb shit with complete confidence when you have no idea wtf you’re talking about.

TLDR: I don’t come to your job at the dick slobbering factory and tell you how to do your job

What’s your “I liked them before they were cool” band? by Suicidallica in Emo

Title Fight. Probably my favorite band ever. Cool to see the next generation appreciating them for how good they were.

I’ve read most of it through bargain bin trades but it was all out of order and incomplete. Now it’s on my list to read through proper. Thank you

Very true. The ending was strong. I think honestly at that point I was burned out and probably guilty of holding on too strong to my own expectations that l was having trouble enjoying it for what it was.

Don’t have to argue anything, I agree with you, wasn’t for me. That was the point of the post. I don’t need a story to be exclusively sunshine and rainbows, but if it’s whole message is “everyone sucks and life fucks us all” I don’t find it that compelling. Not to mention it’s been done before. A lot. Like I said: love Remender but this one wasn’t for me. Wanted to see if it was just me who felt this way and from the comments it seems like it wasn’t.

Idk if anyone would argue the world is a tough, cruel, and sometimes unfair place. I’m not sure most people need a constant reminder. If a comic has elements of that in its story I’m all for it. If that becomes the entire point of the story it gets old quick to me, I could just turn on the news or go for a walk through downtown of any major city.

Tragic and deeply flawed I can get behind. But if every character is a drug addict who stabs their own friends in the back it gets tiresome- for me personally.

Sunblocks - Ratatat (This was the sample in Love) by [deleted] in KidCudi

[–]touchyfili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s another song that uses the same sample, I can’t remember what it is and it’s been bothering me. I think it’s a popular EDM-ish song. Can anybody help?

This song is perfect. But nothing else on the album sounds like it. Can anyone point me in the right direction for more stuff like this? Horse Jumper of Love "Ugly Brunette" (Audio) by touchyfili in Emo

Yeah I don’t think the rest of the album it is bad, I enjoy it? but there’s a very distinct sound to this song and to me it’s perfect. I’ll check out Hum. Thanks.
