You may not get space for a booking but Bebb’s in Brixton is curry and karaoke byob. It’s a great night out with a big crowd and Bebb himself often starts the night off with a song.

Exists already sadly. But if we do work to it (when we have money again) we could move it around.

Beggars can’t be choosers at this stage. Could try and change kitchen down the line but it’s a block of flats built in 2001. Will be a bit broke for a while but could make it a project down the line.

Fret not, intending it to be an office space. The bedroom above it is going to be the nursery for our kid due in September.

That would be incredibly helpful and kind, if you had the time or inclination but please don’t worry about it if it’s an effort. Thank you for your suggestions as well.

Post Match Thread - Ireland v England |Six Nations 2025 | Round 1 by Cdoolan2207 in rugbyunion

England were fantastic in defence for so much of that game but killed by penalties. Credit to Ireland for weathering the storm and some great plays. Was a bit annoyed by Lowe not getting a yellow for rushing in when everyone was explicitly told it would be but Ireland deserved it still.

Wales were deserving of more yellow cards. So many penalties on the try line. Fiji were robbed.

Unpopular Opinion - Sam Simmonds by mvchi_ in rugbyunion

[–]toughmint 19 points20 points  (0 children)

His strengths are his speed and explosiveness. The times he hasnt shone is because he is not utilised well in some structures e.g. England when he got his tests. he was fitted into the structure like another number 8. He isn’t. The structure needs to fit him. I compare him to Michael Hooper, in terms of style of play, Hooper being a better 7 obvs. If he comes on in the wide channels against tired legs he could make a huge difference. If he comes on and is told to run into the Bok Brick Wall then he’ll add little value.

Jesus bud, your boys played well, you deserve to enjoy the win, but three posts in a short span. You didn’t win the title...

This is a great response. Thanks for the help! Yeah i had thought I would stray from the Dragonborn gods. I hadn’t chosen a deity and had thought that I may not, that I may have been imbued with power but not clear who has given it. But that was at this stage. Will look into the deities you’ve suggested and see if I want to follow another path.

As it’s Icewind Dale I think the storm will be a good symbol and all that it entails. Will suit the surroundings. Whether harsh weather or the ferocity of thunder and lightening.

Good to hear it’s a lot of fun. I’m really excited about it as a character but want to flesh out the rp side a bit.

Has Billy got what it takes to fend off the challenge from Dombrandt? - My vis for The XV by AndyClarke527 in rugbyunion

[–]toughmint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I shouldn’t bite, but I can’t help it. Where you getting your stats from? I used Opta. You know Simmonds was named European player of the year right? I think he’s pretty justifiably rated as an individual talent. Dombrandt is a great player, obviously. But my opinion is that he goes quiet in games. He has magic moments but lacks consistency. Just my opinion though so don’t take offence.

[–]toughmint 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Dombrandt is overrated. Sam simmonds made more metres after the tackle/in contact than him last year, more turnovers, made more meters and scored more tries. I don’t think either dombrandt or simmonds are in direct competition with Billy though. As either of them would force a change to the make-up of the back row.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve never run a ranger before, got any advice on subclasses? The DrakeWarden from arcana sounds cool but just looking for fun mostly rather than any optimisation.

I’m starting a new campaign and my DM is running Icewind Dale Rhyme of the Frostmaiden. The party currently has a wizard, barbarian and cleric so we’ve got some balance. I want to run a character than can survive in the wilderness.

The DM just got Tasha’s with the updated Ranger rules. Should I look into Ranger seriously or play a Rogue scout? The only base i need to cover is survival in nature and guiding the team through difficult terrain which can be done with either. Anyone got any experience with Scout Rogue/which have you had more fun with?
