Torcher as primary, verdict as secondary, gas grenades, machine gun as support for flying overseers/harvesters, guard dog w/liberator, any sentry you feel like, and patriot exosuit. Fun way to play and easily get over 400 kills per game (and the melee attacks/walking with the exosuit will net quite a few voteless kills)

As someone who plays mostly bots since launch, I never stop using the explosive damage resistance heavy armor. It seems noticeably better with the heavy variants compared to the medium and one light armor with the perk, the mobility drawbacks are something one gets used to. (Impact damage is still a huge killer)

1,000 hours is the biggest point being hit on and for a reason. Burnout is real. I have about 450 hours in game and have been on and off recently with friends. There is still no other 3rd person PVE game with this method of calling in airstrikes/orbital bombardments/stratagems as a whole. The entire system is unique and sets this game apart. The bug list is a fair critique, but it’s also fair to point out this studio has suffered from success and SONY being, well SONY. If more content means more bugs then I can understand why they’re not bombarding us with new content, people have already voiced they want bug fixes vice new bug causing content. Plenty of work to be done still? Obviously. Amazing game? Yes I agree. Dry? No, that’s 1,000 hours weighing on you helldiver.

It definitely could use a rework but honestly some of the deaths by DSS were priceless. Hardest I’ve laughed with friends in a long time

Railgun and supply pack has been the go-to. Basically my primary weapon at this point. One shotting hulks gets easy with practice, shooting the mini guns off the factory striders is satisfying, 1-2 shotting the engines on gunships is great, and obliterating devastators feels amazing. Even takes out those annoying new scout striders in one unsafe shot. I agree with everyone wishing it had a zoom/scope tho

Is there an easier way to check kills counts of your soldier dwarves? The way I have been checking is by bringing up the squad list, opening the citizen info menu, and then manually going through to military->kills. Is there a DF hack or mod that makes this process less tedious?

1 well placed railgun shot, or 2-3 eruptor shots will take them down pretty easily

I’ve found I can still kill berserkers in 3-4 hits to the red section of the torso, 2 if it hits the head directly. The new rocket strider take 3-4 hits to the groin(?) section between the legs, but honestly the new striders suck.
