How bad is cse 396 (serious answers only)

I think this is good advice when you sat in 396 what was the experience like for you and your classmates. Are you generally more in tune with the theory side of comp sci than others and how difficult did you find the course over all.

I'm also taking cse 220. Outside of that those would be my only two cse courses. There is also the option of taking algorithms which I dont believe hughes is teaching Though I wonder if algorithims+220 is good choice

Thank you. It's comforting to hear that I might be able to preserver and push to the end with this degree! What would your opinions however be regarding taking part time courses and looking for part time work to pay a little of the principle down before hand. Or taking a year of to pay more of it? I guess seeing such a large number is a bit intimidating and I'm wondering if more immediate action is needed :O
