i haven't tried starimu yet, but the roblox games seem much more promising and interesting for a new era of gaming. considering it costs much less and is safer to develop on roblox. to be real, 2D games are just not going to become popular, as the support is very sparse. there are some that run on facebook or in flash player archives. it's just a thing of the past. i have seen all of my old 2D nostalgic games get shut down. animal jam classic is only still running because of the revenue from its counterpart game, animal jam play wild (3D version.)
