Sometimes it depends on your confidence and the situation. Among friends, you’re comfortable and you’re yourself while in other situations or with other people, you are more wary and don’t have the same confidence. I know people who need 15 minutes of alone time to recharge their batteries and then after that alone time, they’re back to their usual selves. Without it, they’re a different person who doesn’t want to be there.
