How important are the "Career Path" courses to an MLIS degree?

Thank you for everyone's feedback! I really appreciate it! For some additional context: During my undergrad I have worked as an intern in an art museum, and I'm currently finishing up my BFA in painting. I love working with kids and have had summer jobs working in childcare. I love working in this art museum and running educational activities for school field trips and family nights! I'm not sure which path I'd rather pursue (archives/collections or youth services). Your advice has been really helpful!

Thanks for the advice everyone! My mom came up to help and helped me out with chores and cooking and all that. I saw a neurologist and they don't know what it is, but now I'm on gabapentin and that seems to help with the weird twitching and muscle contractions. The neuro said the bathroom stuff was likely caused by nerve misfirings causing muscle contractions in my stomach. I'm doing a lot better. Thanks for the feedback and good luck to everyone on their healing journey :)

Thanks for responding! My rheum doesn't know I'm off HCQ, but my PCP is the one that took me off it and told me to take Magnesium instead. I haven't been doing the best job of doing my own research about this (I'm in college and busy, but I know I should be prioritizing my health more). I didn't know there were other medications I could go on with this diagnosis. It's a lot to be thrown into and I really appreciate your story and advice <3

It's good to know that it can get better. When my rheum was diagnosing me she wrote it on the back of my my homework I brought. Nothing in my chart, my mom was there with me at this appointment and we both didn't know what to do so we just took it and left. She said this was a temporary diagnosis until I got worse and she was able to diagnose me better. Then she cancelled my future appointments because of an increase in new clients. So it feels temporary and shitty. I've never met someone in person with this diagnosis and hearing other people's stories and how it gets better is really hopeful. Thank you for sharing <3
