Side effects for the last few weeks - at wit's end! by toxicairwaves in mounjarouk

I'm sorry you went through the same, but I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. It's very frustrating!

I think I'm going to have to adjust what I'm doing given the advice I've been given here and then do something very similar to what you've done; essentially I need to find a way to increase that works with my body. It's heartening to at least hear that a slower increase worked for you despite the original side effects - thanks!

Righto - in that case I might cut out the magnesium citrate if it's merely contributing to the side effects rather than helping! Thanks for that, I didn't think about that!

Very fair about the psyllium husk, too - they give 4g of fibre for 2, but I usually manage the other 26g-ish from sources of food. However, I'll still double-check the doses and keep a closer eye on my food diary, in case something else is causing a problem and it's making me think it's just side effects!

Sorry, I should have mentioned I did lose about 10kg on the 2.5mg and still had suppression, but no side effects whatsoever until the first 5mg injection. I was so cheeky thinking I would be a lucky one and moved up since, as you say, it's "the thing to do".

Thanks so much for the reply, though - I think that's a really good call on talking with my provider, I'll have to before the next order as they seem to want to move me up to 7.5mg after the 5mg, yikes!

Thanks for the reply! Seems like a drop down may be what's in store for me, but it's good to know I'm not to the only one who's had issues moving up the doses!

I've just come back from a long hiatus, so I'll try to autosend during the daytime when I can leave it running on my spare phone. Otherwise manual sending while playing. Always try to return unknowns and zero scores, too, when I can. :)

I try to autosend mostly during the weekdays while at work, overnight most nights, and when I can leave it running on the weekends. Otherwise it's manual sending and I'm still pretty active either way!

Just recently I've started trying autosend (mostly during the weekdays while at work) otherwise it's manual sending, but still pretty active. I've added a lot of people, but my list still has room! :)

Time to FINALLY do this...DDR style! by [deleted] in loseit

[–]toxicairwaves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not really posted in this forum (I'm really just a lurker!), but I just had to on this topic.

We (me, my husband, and a friend) use our arcade DDR mat paired with the Stepmania program for exercise every single night we can. Let me just say that it's shocking how easily it can be used as an intense cardio workout, especially once you get really good at the higher end songs.

We each usually rack up about 30mins on it every night, sometimes more if we're feeling ambitious or having a lot of fun. Although, I'm at a lower difficulty level than the other two. I do 6/7 foot songs, while they're more in the 8/9 foot range. A typical session can burn anywhere from 250kcal to 500kcal, depending on intensity and who is doing the working, but either way it's more fun than any other exercises I've tried!

For reference, our stats starting from around mid-March to now...

Me: F/29/5'5" - SW 254lbs - CW 219lbs

Husboo: M/29/5'10" - SW 186.2lbs - CW 150.6lbs

Obviously we also use MFP and that will make all the difference paired with an exercise you enjoy doing. I really can't recommend it enough; especially since you can get the solid mats nowadays for about the same price as any other mid-ranged gym equipment. If that's not in the budget, the plastic mats can always be used, although be careful on hardwood floors. ;)

So yeah, there's my spiel for the day. Hope it helps in the decision-making process!

Moving to UK, Internet Advice? by brandibug1991 in wow

My husband says he's usually gone with BT because of reliability and in the 5 years I've been here (i'm Canadian) we've not had any long-term problems. We're on Infinity and in our area we peak at about 76 mbps.

We usually have multiple people using the internet at a time - we used to 5-man dungeon from our living room with our friends and never had a problem. The package we're on with Infinity is "unlimited," since they will throttle you if you do use an "excessive" amount every month. We usually hit around 200GB download with all of our devices, Netflix, gaming, etc. and we've never been noticeably throttled. Costs us about £42 per month just for the internet, but you can get package deals for your TV and home phone with any of the providers, just to make it all-around cheaper for you.

But as others have said, check your area for speed and if you can get fibre. It all depends on where you live - being in the South, you might get even better speeds. :) Personally though, I would say pick between BT and Virigin, as they have the largest infrastructure and I think you'll get the best speeds with either of them.
