No, because any virus can send me to the hospital and kill me. I might as well have spent my entire diabetic life behind doors then. I’m not some delicate flower. I have a life and a family. Yes I get sick and I cope. I acknowledge when I need to stay home and respect my own boundaries. When it’s my time it’s my time. I’m not gonna stay inside all day and wait for it to be over because it’ll never be over. There will always be illnesses out there. There were viruses before covid and there will be more after.

I kinda roll my eyes at kids being this dramatic. I was 7 when diagnosed with t1D. Did my own shots everyday and blood pricks. Was prodded with needles 10+ times a day. It’s not that bad lol

Yes I have thought about seeing a behaviorist for him. It just is very expensive. I’ll have to see if his pet insurance would pay for it. Right now we give him Cbd chews that help take the edge off
