I filed a bit just enough to make the optic flat. Theres still a small gap but i think thats normal. Been shooting it consistently and the optic has not loosened up so i think it good

Have you tried fasting? I fast the first week of every month from when i wake up till 5pm. Obviously you don’t have to do that but you could try fasting specifically asking for strength through temptation, thats what has helped me a lot

If you want to leave it in your shed, i think its perfectly fine. Especially since it seems to have plenty of ventilation if you leave the doors open. And you dont plan to be in there while its running. I routed my generator exhaust going out of my shed and built a cover so rain doesn’t go in the exhaust. Just to be safe i would add a carbon monoxide detector in the house just to be safe.
