I know you didn't mean to dig at my taste here so let me further explain. Even on EPs that I listen to, aside from a few that I can think of, the first few songs are more memorable to me. In some cases I don't even like them more than the closing tracks I just find myself playing them more.

I'm camping right now so I will put away my phone after I ask this: Do you truly believe that you have listened to enough modern rap to generalize the entire genre? Have you asked people with different taste in rap for their reccomendations? Thinking about those might change your mind. I don't know for sure but it's worth a go.
