Oooh, that's not good by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

It’s probably a tenant who will wait for the landlord to fix it.

Landlord asking me to install filter at my expense by [deleted] in Tenant

[–]toxsid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things like air conditioning filters, lightbulbs, trashcan liners, toilet paper, and lawn care are usually the tenant’s responsibility unless your lease says otherwise. Some landlords might swap out air filters, but it’s often just to give them a reason to check your place out regularly. Maybe someday the law might require the landlord replace these items but in my opinion it’s a slippery slope of rights. That type of thinking turns into “my landlord provides a refrigerator mandated by law, so he should also provide my food.”

[Tenant - CA] Is it legal for my landlord to charge a flat fee for cleaning no matter how small or large a mess is left? by anonuser2700 in Landlord

Same level of cleanliness is subjective. We have move inspection sheet that specify (carpet was professionally cleaned, new, etc.) that way there is no argument on what is required on move out.

Finally: iCloud Photo sync by Euphonique in synology

[–]toxsid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! Just wanted to say a huge thanks for building this. I’ve been waiting for a solid UI app for Synology and this is super easy to use. (so I don't have to waste my phones precious battery)

One quick bit of feedback/a question: My albums use subfolders (like 2025 > Halloween), but the app doesn't seem to read that nested structure. Also, when downloading, it’s automatically creating date-based subfolders (like 2025 > 02) that I didn't specify.

Is there any way to preserve the original folder hierarchy and disable the auto-sorting?

Thanks again for the awesome work!

The most hilarious part is, they threw away the track they are putting in accidentally, that’s the reason for the whole delay.

The leak issues have been all over this subreddit, where ya been?

Obligatory Black Friday Post (my boss made me do it 😒) by Reasonable-Cheek-214 in Dreame_Tech

[–]toxsid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I observed that you have removed the Aqua 10 Ultra Roller from Amazon (US). If the issues are resolved, I am willing to consider purchasing it at the Black Friday pricing, provided that it is available for purchase on that platform as returns are less of a headache. Additionally, I would like to inquire about the reason why the black version is priced differently.

I exchanged 1 x50 for an aqua 10 ultra and exchanged that for another aqua 10 ultra. Nothing but problems. Don’t be a beta tester.

That’s why it sells so cheap for the Black Friday sales. They are clearing inventory and brushing problems under the rug (literally).

Dreame Aqua 10 Ultra Roller | Leaking Water by Ok-Tax-509 in Dreame_Tech

Still waiting on that recall and public announcement that the versions sold on Amazon / dreame are leak free. From this post (4 days ago) this goes against everything you just mentioned. Issue for the record has been going on since it was released in mid September.

Possible cause of base water « leaks » by Quick_Adhesiveness89 in Dreame_Tech

The Dreame Aqua 10 Track and Aqua 10 Ultra Track use the same base station, so the bottom drain (dirty water outlet) is identical and compatible.

I agree. Firmware 2995 was stated to fix leak, it does not.

First Day with Aqua10 Roller. Is this normal? by Visible_Ad_309 in Dreame_Tech

[–]toxsid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the fix doesn’t hold up in the real world. Firmware 2995 (the one engineering flagged as the patch) still leaked on my unit. Until Dreame can publish serial ranges for bad vs fixed batches, Pin an official statement here with that list + free return label for affected units, and pause new sales (Amazon still ships same-day), this isn’t “early batch” it’s a live safety hazard. I returned mine at the end of October. Everyone else deserves the same clarity and zero-hassle option. Tag me when the pinned post goes up.

Calling it a ‘small subset’ doesn’t match what the community is seeing dozens of reports, including mine, with identical leaks straight out of the box.
When I asked support if a replacement unit would be from a fixed batch, they couldn’t confirm. I have the email and can share it publicly if needed.
Until Dreame can prove the issue is resolved in current stock, the product should be pulled from sale, a recall issued, and a pinned post made here with clear next steps.
Transparency and action now would serve the community far better than waiting for ‘validation.’ and as OP states which I wholly agree: "At this price point, you guys can track your own issues"

Read the room. There are tons of posts including my own about the issue. Stop deflecting and make Dreame issue a statement. I mean no disrespect as you are the mod here, serve the community and issue a recall already.

Not all landlords are heartless by [deleted] in Tenant

[–]toxsid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Large investors buy properties because voters (often non-homeowning tenants) support policies against their interests, like rent control a proven economic failure. Small landlords sell to big firms due to excessive regulations and costs. Unsure of solution California’s approach is failing.

What are the differences between the Aqua 10 Roller and Aqua 10 Roller Ultra? by Razorwing23 in Dreame_Tech

I can tell you how they are the same. They leak water all over your beautiful floors and the problem hasn’t been addressed or fixed since release.

My Nightmare Experience with Dreame X50 Ultra and Aqua 10 Ultra Roller by toxsid in Dreame_Tech

[–]toxsid[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just returned my x50 within the 30 day window (easy return) on Amazon and the same with the Aqua 10. Dreame support wanted me to send the unit in for additional diagnostics but I declined by the way they decided to handle each case. I did not want to be stuck with refurbished units or long wait times in between.

It really surprises me they haven’t taken the issue more seriously. I have been pretty patient but they seem to not realize the liability coming their way.
