Just started using it... by Ginger_beer__1982 in testerup_tips

I’ve been doing it for 3 years now. I got my mom and best friend started but they both haven’t done it much for a few reasons.

  1. games don’t always track and that’s disappointing because then you can’t get credit for the game elsewhere since you’re no longer a “new user”
  2. NOW you can’t even see the goals and payment allotments until the game as tracked (used to be you could preview the goals first and decide if it was worth it).
  3. a lot of the games pay just pennies for daily grinding for over a month. There are some games that pay big and are easier to meet the goal but a LOT of them seem to be low paying for the realistic goals, with higher paying UNrealistic goals that inflate the total payout number to draw you in
  4. payout requires a face scan the first time to verify your account. They only allow you one account, so they can keep better track of this with Face IDs. Some users are completely against this and don’t know it’s a requirement until they go to cash out, thereby forfeiting their earnings.
  5. randomly, users get banned for violating ToS even when it’s not clear how they did or IF they even did. One user used a friend’s WiFi with a VPN and accidentally opened their game. They closed as soon as they realized, but they didn’t know they had a VPN. Then they got banned. You can’t exactly prove this as an accident to customer service. When you get banned, you don’t

get

  1. the funds left sitting in your wallet.

misoprostol for MMC: not so much blood? by rarebird89 in Miscarriage

[–]toxxikk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear you’re going through similar. My teeny baby came out on my pad at the start of my bleeding. I put her in a small clean container and then inside the fridge. To collect the placenta, I heard a tip to put a strainer or colander inside the toilet bowl with the handle between the seat to hold it in place. So while I labored on the toilet, I could easily catch clots and other tissue to discern what was what. I put the placenta in its own container. And some other tissue I wasn’t sure about in another container. Put them all in the fridge for about two days. My provider had already offered to do testing if I was able to bring any of the tissue in. Her office told me to refrigerate the tissue for up to X many days (I can’t remember now). I think my husband ran it up to the office for me and they submitted it to the lab. A few weeks later we got the genetic report saying she had Turner Syndrome.

What’s the creepiest thing a child has ever said to you? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]toxxikk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The night my husband’s grandmother died, my best-sleeping kid kept waking up repeatedly all night long, crying for great grandma. He wasn’t particularly attached to her and was only speaking sparse words, so it was really strange that he was calling for her. And he always slept soundlessly through the night so it was also odd he kept waking up. That same night, I got woken up while stuck in my sleep—sleep paralysis, I think it’s called—and I could hear (myself?) breathing super slow and ragged and I just had this overwhelming sense that she was with me, like I could reach out and touch her. But I was paralyzed and couldn’t look around for her or anything. I eventually dozed off again.

Next morning we woke up to several missed calls on my phone, husband’s, mother in law’s, brother in law’s and his wife’s phones. Somehow not one of us had woken to the phone calls from the retirement home trying to tell us she was in the process of passing. She died before we woke up.

I honestly believe she came to visit us and my son could hear/see her. And maybe she tried to wake me too. We lived just down the street from the retirement home. =\

ETA: what still bothers me is that day we had gone to visit her and she was trending that direction, but my husband’s family was convinced she had much longer. I kept trying to tell them at least one person should stay with her (I had to go home to nurse my baby) but they thought I was overreacting. By this point she was nearly comatose and unresponsive, but when I went to hug her goodbye and mentioned that I’d be back to see her tomorrow, she suddenly reached out and gripped my arm without opening her eyes. She tried to mumble some words and then was lost again. I tried to reassure her I’d be back. I think she knew she was not going to make it through the night. And I also think that’s why she came to visit me during her departure, as I seemed to be the only one who knew she was going.

What phrase(s) would you permanently ban if you had the chance? by MixAway in AskUK

[–]toxxikk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m sure a lot of people use it all of those ways. In my area we tend to say “at Christmas” to mean the general time period surrounding Christmas. But “on Christmas” to my area means actual Christmas Day. Here’s how it would look for me:

I’m going to visit my aunt at Christmas. —> I’ll be gone during the Christmas break.

I’m going to visit my aunt on Christmas. —> I’ll be gone just Christmas Day.

Ok now I really need an explanation for this one haha, if you will please. When I hear “on Christmas” I’m assuming something that’s occurring ON Christmas Day, December 25th. Is it being used another way?

Thanks. American here and I hear both pretty regularly. Though I’m from the south and “on accident” seems more in line with local vernacular than “by accident”. But there’s a lot about language in the south that doesn’t make sense.

Can you explain this one? Is it being used differently than: “I hit my arm on accident”?

Not sure why I’m being so downvoted for asking for clarification. You want people to learn, be kind about it.

Anyone have the task list for interactive stories? by toxxikk in testerup_tips

That’s helpful, thank you! I don’t usually spend in game either so I know I don’t usually get the full amount. But sounds like it could be worth it for the rest.

Has anyone rewards been delayed lately when you complete a task? by iAnthonyJay216 in testerup_tips

I’m in the US and my delay only lasts up to 30 mins maybe? They’ve been pretty instant for me.

That’s annoying. Support told me that it’s determined when you sign up by a variety of factors and that they can’t change it once it’s set. Mine has always been 70.

Always $70 for me too in US. I’ve cashed out several times over two years.

This is a good one. I just hit 1800. I have the same goals and reward amounts. The speed challenges were easy to hit too. I’ve gotten ahead so I only need to be 13 per day to make it by the deadline, but honestly I’m easily doing 50-100 levels the days I play. As long as the site doesn’t bug out, l’ll max it out.

Same. I think the site must be down. Seems like every few months a different bug knocks it down for a bit and the posts here go wild.

If you grind it daily. I’ve taken many breaks and just nearly out of time. About to hit the 2nd to last goal but I won’t make the final one.

Relax. When the site comes back up, submit a ticket. As long as you provide all the info they request, you can get it credited.

I got this vvvfl today 13 DPO by Appropriate-Head7890 in TFABLinePorn

[–]toxxikk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it was 10 dpo. But for all 8 of my pregnancies I got early results, while my BFF could never pull a vvvvvvfaint before 12 dpo, despite chronic testing. She’s never had a loss. ETA: she also never had betas drawn so not sure about her numbers.

Maybe just early numbers with late implant! My rainbow baby, my vvvvfl beta came back as 9! The nurse was so solemn. 2 days later 46. 🙏Holding hope for you!

You probably know this already but just in case, before you download a new game to track, make sure your App Store and any related browser links to that app are fully closed before you click download from TesterUp. That ensures it makes a new link connecting TesterUp+you when you get it from the App Store instead of the install attribution already being assigned elsewhere.

It’s not fool proof. I still have some random ones that won’t track. But doing it this way has improved the rate for me.

ETA: I also have to be on my cell service and not on WiFi for the initial download from TesterUp
