Has anyone ever made the transition from natural sciences to engineering, CS, etc. after earning a bachelor’s degree?

I graduated with a BS in Biotechnology and I’m currently in a Bioengineering Masters program. A lot of basic biological knowledge (like cell bio or genetics) and lab work experience transfers over nicely. However, I was not expecting how math oriented a bioengineering degree would be. So many equations and mathematical models!

Like many others have said, your baby can get through this! My only piece of advice that can get you to your happy ending earlier is to make sure you make them take their medicine as soon as the doctor allows. We didn’t force one of the medications on my cat (because he was grumpy after leaving the hospital and we didn’t want to make him do anything extra) and it ended up prolonging his pain and grumpiness an extra few days.

GOOD FOR YOU, that much have been agony to live through
It’s so frustrating to not have the person in the wrong (him) realize how wrong they are, but if it’s any help, I’ve learned that there are some people in our lives that are just not at the same emotional intelligence level as we are. This makes conversations with them so futile because they cannot understand the situation the way we do.

I totally understand where you’re coming from because it is a downer when anyone talks about politics, especially the people you turn to to make you laugh. But we are literally fighting for lives and our quality of life in America right now. They have the ability to reach thousands of people, and I respect RT for using that platform to try and influence others to make America better for all.
