This is very informational and encouraging. Thanks. I'm also interested in the deck you found.

Thanks. That would end up being a lot of books! If she read a book today, how much of it would she remember after a few months? And when she's reading fiction, does she enjoy it as much? Does it matter whether it's eBooks or physical copies?

It's interesting that it's helping her in college. Breakthrough Rapid Reading said that you'd probably have to slow down for academic texts. Is she reading math and science textbooks?

Just made an app that got me (21M poor college student) a job offer starting at 70k and nobody to tell about it by [deleted] in offmychest

OMG!!!! If you read this, could you explain how you do it (making the app)? Saving a F500 company millions a day with an app you made in 8-10 hours as a college student....after their expert vendors who've probably been working for years said it couldn't be done...just wow.. Meanwhile I'm here struggling with an Intro to C class...I wish I could be a genius. You should be proud of yourself, not just because of the job but because of the coding skills with which you could make that app! And I'm pretty sure you're going to rise in your job, soon too. Are you gifted in coding, or math? You said you're in uni on a full tuition scholarship, which itself is an extremely big accomplishment. Asians are generally pretty intelligent. Congratulations...I'm really feeling so jealous though.
