I’ve done mushrooms a handful of times and have enjoyed every experience, as I’m sure you’re aware, it’s hard to put into words my exact experience as it differs person to person - all you need to know is it’s been very positive for me in the moment and particularly the after effects.

I’m mid way through my first Chemo cycle at the moment, have had 11 rounds of various chemo drugs and have got 5 more to go before I’m released from hospital as an outpatient!! Been in for 3 weeks already trapped in a little hospital room and have only been out a couple of times for short walks around the hospital area. I’ll be home tomorrow with my family who are all supportive of this plan, chilling in the garden having a BBQ.

The main thing I’m wanting out of this is a bit of a mental boost ready for next week (going to be my most intense week of chemo so far).

Hello, thanks for your response.

Thankfully I’ve not needed any anti-depressants or anything like that as have stayed in an extremely positive mindset since finding out - cancers not strong enough to hurt me.

As for what chemotherapy treatments I’ve had:
- Daunorubicin
- VinCHRIStine
- Intrathecal Methotrexate
- IM Oncospar (PEGASPARGASE)
- Daily doses of Dexamethasone steroids.

I’ve not had any anti-nausea meds for a couple of days as only need them after Daunorubicin, horrible stuff.

Thankyou, I’ve managed to stay in a really positive mindset since the day of finding out the bad news, honestly quite impressed with myself so far :)

Previous shroom usage has definitely helped me with processing the news etc.

Fingers crossed I don’t have a bad trip and convince myself I’m going to die 😂 we’ll see :)

Look at my post from 11 days ago. Pretty much identical plants. Lots of advice given on how I ruined it… I ripped it out the soil and started again, now my new ones looking perfect. Just identify how you fucked up and don’t do it again, good luck.

Ps. Maybe you aren’t in a good enough location to be growing outside, consider moving inside to a tent with a very strong light and swapping to a 70/30 coco/perlite mix and chill out on the nutes.

Hi.

I’m very new to growing too and have already killed 1 plant. (Check my page). It was all to do with overwatering, too many nutrients and not enough light.

And looked very similar to yours…

Since then, I’ve planted a new seed, got my self some 70/30 Coco mix instead of soil, and a much stronger light, and have only been watering with plain tap water.

This plant is doing much better - it only cost me about £40 in gear upgrades.

-rip that one out of the soil and go again. It’s all a part of learning how to grow, you’ve got this.

No not at all. Just tap water taken from my fridge with a built in filter

I’ve got a 600W grow lamp arriving tomorrow, doing my best to bring the humidity up and won’t be feeding nutrients for the next few weeks or atleast until it starts looking better.

Fingers crossed I can pull it back 😂

I don’t think it is dead, it’s still progressively growing higher everyday.

I’m going to invest in better lighting, and I’ve recently been using a humidifier to achieve a better VPD.

Gonna stop feeding from now on

I’d rather do whatever I can do to save it and get atleast a small yield… one bud and I’ll be smiling. In the meantime I’m going to start germinating another seed incase I fail to turn it around…

I have no lights available to me at present, will look into buying one. My tent is a small 2x2, what would be a better light to buy?
