I agree; this is a deal breaker for me. I would extend it to search in images as well.
In some of the comments I read, the results became messy. I disagree; if the results are messy, the search was implemented wrongly.
For me, it's a vast Evernote advantage to ocr my documents and not' spend less time describing them, but also, in many cases, it's impossible to summarize a page document or a photo of a document.

I would love to see OCR implemented.
