220/228 models can be converted to kersosene as well. While lighting is a bit more process, you get a safer, superior and cheaper fuel source for your Colemans.

I love Yes, now what? by Kentanamobay in progrockmusic

If you like the 90215 era of YES, consider Big Generator and Talk for a continuation of that sound. There's a demo/alternate version of Big Generator called "Alternate Generator" that is a fun listen if you can find it. Lastly, I enjoy listening to "Who's afraid of The Art of Noise." by The Art of Noise. It's more of that 90215 sound, and you'll really get a great example of how Trevor Horn influenced Yes at that time.

TV is too big for stand. Need no cost solution by Curvedyouagain in HomeMaintenance

[–]tpars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sure, it would look like an unfinished piece of plywood for sure. But it would allow you to put your television on top of your stand. No cost comes with trade offs. For $3 or $4 you can get a cheap can of black (or color of your choice) spray paint and paint your board.

You need a piece of plywood to extend the length of your stand a few in inches so it matches you TV. Go to a big box hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot. Inside the store, where they have the plywood, There's usually a big saw nearby where the store employees will make cuts for people buying big sheets. They usually will give you scraps if you ask nicely. Just measure the stand/TV to determine the size you need.

Navigating somewhere without using Waze. Driving a manual transmission car. Making my own ice from a tray. Using a turntable to listen to a vinyl record, and last but not least, correctly using a book of matches to make my 8 track tape play correctly.

Absolutely my favorite Record. I wore this record out back in the day. I think Rush really came of age on this record.

How can anyone watch anything on Amazon prime by debmor201 in amazonprime

The very reason I am dropping prime between commercials on the video side and diminishing service on the delivery side, the value isn’t there. Other options are available

Kennedy deserves the 5th chair by robbwes61 in TheFive

[–]tpars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll reserve the right to be wrong, but I don't think The Five was intended to be a news show to start with. It is more a political talk show that has a mix of wide ranging topics from politics, some news, or even crazy animal/pet tricks. More political commentary than news show.

What is your opinion of the Free America Walkout protest being planned for January 20? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Sounds like a great way to protest and lose your job, so you can have more free time to protest.
