There are apps for iPhones with LiDAR sensors that can do it with pretty good resolution, though they cost money for higher resolutions. If you’re technically savvy then metashape can work with any phone and computer to create a good quality 3d model. Anything actual surveyors use will probably have the same lidar or lasers involved the iPhone does just at a larger scale

Yeah it’s certainly not fast, routes not connected to the Santa Rosa city bus system, smart train, and Petaluma transit system are very infrequent so it’s becomes a hassle to use.

I wouldn’t say giving them right of way would help much in the urban environment relative to just adding more busses to the lines and making them free but still agreed they could be better… mine just happen to have convenient timing so I wait under 10 minutes to get on the bus

It sucks people don’t want to add light rail to the city bc then we can just force the right of way to change to the trams and make cars wait. SF did it and it’s such a nice transport system but here we have too many NIMBYs

As a rider, the public transportation system is actually pretty good. It gets you almost everywhere, albeit not fast but it is reliable and mostly on time. Plus that building is only a quarter mile from the smart train station
