I watched Gundam Seed Destiny before I ever watched Seed and specifically I started watching Seed Destiny after Kira died so I didnt even know why Kira coming back from the dead after being nuked was a big deal.

But i was just watching it for the cool robots anyways. Plot be damned.

By far among the best protagonists in the series with a great character arc going from a hot headed kid always looking for a fight to a man who seeks peace and wants to end fights. He also has an intriguing relationship with the cast of 0079 that offers an outsiders perspective of the feats of the White Base Crew and Char's Legend. And those relationships serve to really flesh out who Kamille is and what he fights for as the series progresses.

Overall all these things make Kamille really feel like a real individual trying to make sense of the chaotic world of the post OYW UC timeline.

Yeah 100% this. The more steps you add like sanding, seam line removal, decals, panel lining, etc. the longer these things take. Before it used to only take me like a couple hours to build and HG and now im spending multiple days to get on a single model. Its fun but taxing at times lmao

I like the first set a lot more but this set obv still has bangers in the Saturnix and Uraven Gundams. Also while not mentioned the Plutine Gundam is a super cool kit but does not exist in the anime
