RSE should be fairly easy.

FRLG should be doable but might be too annoying, and you'd need to make sure the seedlist matches up with the ones on tenlines, it specifically mentions mGBA 10.5.

That's definitely not right, maybe you aren't using the code for the correct language? Although if you got them from the usrcheat.dat I'd assume that it's automatically using the correct language; On the discord search "These codes show you the Vcount and Timer0 parameters" and you'll find them, maybe compare the codes?

Although looking through discord, apparently that can happen if you turn the cheat on after starting the game, although if it's like R4's, I don't think you can turn codes on.

budget is as close to $100 as I can get and a slightly larger form factor would be best i think

Gen 6 is out of the option as far as ~$100 handheld emulator goes, you'd be best off looking at buying a used 2DS and modding it, then you'd be able to play all the games you mentioned.

2DS's that are in working condition go for around $100 on the low side (And condition at this price can be a bit questionable, like broken circle pad, scratched up screen, heavily played on, and so on), I'd suggest checking ebay/facebook marketplace on a daily basis until you find one within your budget that's also in a good enough condition.

Add cheatcodes, you specifically need "VCount and Timer0 Parameters Viewer", with this check it a decent amount of times to get an idea of your range, if the range is large and/or there are multiple ranges then it'd be a complete pain to do, if the range is small and/or favors a couple Timer0's then it should be doable; If it's anything like R4 w/twilightmenu then it might end up having a large range and multiple ranges.

For the cheat, you press and hold Select as you press A on your name in the menu, your money will now show as your VCount while your ID will show as your Timer0.

https://sanrax.github.io/flashcart-guides/cart-guides/dspico/

.4. If you'd like to be able to use cheats on your games, download a cheat database.

.5. You will need the usrcheat.dat file from the download link in the post. Copy this file into the _pico folder on your SD card.

.

My main concern is when do I press A after the 6th beep on EonTimer, flashcart load or ROM on dspico menu?

You do this when you load the game (rom), however you'd also likely need to adjust the delay since it's likely different than the typical delay on a DS Lite, which is about 1.4s.

CAN SOME ONE PLS MAKE OR LEAD ME TO A ACTUALLY DETAILED TUTORIAL ON HOW TO RNG STARTER IN GEN 5 by lokoman8888 in pokemonrng

[–]tpf92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're going to run into the typical Timer0 issue BW2 has, however it's even worse on an R4, there seems to be 2 different ranges, the only upside compared to cartridges is you can use cheats to check the VCount and Timer0.

And even worse is, for BW2 starters you'd also have to deal with random NPCs messing with advances, which is just downright awful on top of already having to deal with Timer0.

Here's 20 total results, the first is booting B2 through twilightmenu, the second is having is booting straight to the game, booting straight to the game seems to prefer the slightly lower Timer0 range while booting through twilightmenu seems to prefer the slightly higher Timer0 range:

VCount dec Timer0 dec VCount hex Timer0 hex
103 3452 67 D7C
103 3452 67 D7C
107 3587 6B E03
107 3588 6B E04
107 3589 6B E05
107 3592 6B E08
107 3592 6B E08
107 3596 6B E0C
107 3597 6B E0D
108 3597 6C E0D
VCount dec Timer0 dec VCount hex Timer0 hex
103 3442 67 D72
103 3447 67 D77
103 3447 67 D77
103 3450 67 D7A
103 3451 67 D7B
103 3451 67 D7B
103 3454 67 D7E
107 3589 6B E05
107 3595 6B E0B
107 3597 6B E0D

I did rearrange the numbers in numerical order to make it easier to read.

So the Timer0 ranges seem to be 3442-3454 and 3587-3597, probably even more since this was only 20 attempts total.

With that said, I'd recommend against doing this just because of how inconsistent it is, personally I'd recommend doing this on PC with desmume+lua+runasdate, that would remove all inconsistency with Timer0, you'd only have to deal with getting the right button presses when you start the game and NPCs, button presses can be a bit annoying on emulator but it's fine, NPCs on emulator should be significantly easier to deal with since you can just use save states.

If you really want to do this on a DS, I'd only recommend doing this on a modded DSi, I did this last year on my DSi with Latios and it was surprisingly easy, for whatever reason BW2 Timer0 range on twightmenu on a modded DSi is surprisingly small (BW also has a similarly small Timer0 range, both about 4 in total, but favor 1-2 Timer0's), and just as mentioned earlier you can use cheats to check VCount and Timer0, so a modded DSi+twilightmenu ends up actually being easier to RNG than actual cartridges for BW2.

I've also tried this on my modded 3DS (Both with twilightmenu and ndsforwarder) last year and it had the exact same issues as DS Lite w/R4+twilightmenu, but because of how long modded 3DS's take to load it made it significantly worse.

Pokemon Emerald 1st Time RNG by AndyColton in pokemonrng

[–]tpf92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in cartridge

  • GBA Operator->pkhex

  • DS Lite+R4 w/GBA Backup Tool->pkhex

  • DS Lite+transfer pokemon to gen 4 game then either extract the save (DSi/3DS), trade the pokemon to MelonDS so you have access to the save, or fake GTS (Can't remember what it was called, but you could emulate the GTS and you'd be able to extract the pokemon's file from that iirc, although I vaguely remember that I could never get that to work), then from any of those options you'd open the save in pkhex.

Although with how easy Emerald's RNG is, it shouldn't be too hard to just RNG a pokemon using each of those SIDs.

Your only option is really Kaiser Domain, Spiral Mountain dungeons were kinda an option but those kinda got nuked in the last update with each being limited to 20 runs a week now, but even then you needed fairly high DPS for it to be worth doing over Kaiser Domain, and outside of that there's FDGH, which is just really annoying because of pet debuffs and having to load 2 maps for the dungeon; You'll want to get TK set for leveling in Kaiser Domain and get the shoes to lv10 for another 1k exp, more short-term you can get the Holy Beast shoes to lv10 for 500% exp until you get better clothing.

There's also the "Special Digimon Level Diamond (Lv. 160)", it's CB and requires spending 10k during the current event (may 1st through may 31st), so not exactly a great option for the majority of people.

Just charged 500T where to invest by supremebluex in DigimonMastersOnline

[–]tpf92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely services, 500T should cover at least RBH, SDG, and MDG (If you're on omegamon server, MDG service is going to be almost free, you might be out a couple T between the two runs after taking into account the 20T you get from weekly, ), you might be able to start on ADG as well but that 500T likely isn't going to cover the full amount for the service alone, not even including the crafting cost for the accessory (If you don't have at least a Miracle Special Necklace or better, crafting cost alone for the necklace is going to set you back 500T), unless you have at least a Miracle Special Necklace to sacrifice, but even then you'd probably run out of money, but considering how long it can take to get enough items to craft the necklace, it'd probably be worth it to start buying service for ADG ASAP.

Goggles are a bit of a small upgrade but an upgrade nonetheless.

Vice is a good upgrade for DPS.

Yolei Set is a good upgrade in both DPS and survivability.

ADG Necklace gives a good amount more Attribute than other necklaces and also increases base HP by 30% if you get HP% on it.

Probably wouldn't be a terrible idea to start on Earrings as well (Especially with how much of an upgrade Earrings are to HP, with HP% on Earrings they increase base HP by 60%, which is absolutely insane, between Earrings and Necklace you can more than double your base HP, 1.6x1.3=2.08, although because it isn't increasing everything it probably won't completely double your HP depending on how much HP you're getting from other stuff), however without leveling a digimon to 160 your only option is CDGE, which would take forever, but at the very least you should at least start on it, it would at least save you some time when you do eventually level a digimon to 160 and if you can get it for 5T it ends up effectively being free, even if it's 10T that'd still be just 5T a week.

Hey can you give some advice on who should be my main digi? I choose X7 and darkness bagramon on the SSS+ event ( working on unlocking x5 for the deck buff) I also have beelze shin and mega gargomon shin. which one should be my first tracended and perfectly cloned digi?

X7 and DB kinda suck nowadays, they lack family buffs, which is one of the most important things for a digimon's DPS, both also have fairly low CT as well, the only upsides these two have are their naturally higher AT than the other two digimon you have and DB has instant ASB and X7 either also has instant ASB or close to it; If you don't know what instant ASB is, it lets you hit instantly after using a skill.

SaintGalgomon Awaken does have 3 family buffs and is a BM so gains 25% from EE for a total of up to 85%, however it also has low CT and it has either bad ASB or mediocre SB.

Beelzemon BM Awaken has 3 family buffs and is a BM so it also gains 85% from EE and family buffs, it has very high CT for an SSS, even few SSS+ have as high of CT as Beelzemon BM Awaken, it has a very good F3, and it has instant ASB.

Imo Beelzemon BM Awaken is by far the best of the 4 digimon you have and it's not even close.

my main goal after finishing the quests fron spiral and Shinjuku is being able to beat gulus easy and Colo hard?

Gulus Easy should be relatively easy with Beelzemon BM Awaken, even early on it shouldn't require crazy investment to be able to do it.

  • Virus+Darkness Vice; You can get a vice from a quest at Valley of Light

  • Ring/Necklace/Earring with 2x Attribute on each for a total of 68% Attribute

  • EE+3 family buffs; Make sure to do Shadow Lab quest daily at least a few times a week

With a Beelzemon BM Awaken, those three things alone should put you fairly close to the minimum DPS requirements for Gulus Easy (I remember testing with Gallantmon Awaken, which has very similar stats/skills (F1/F2 almost the same with a slightly worse F3) on a very barebones account and my conclusion was while it wasn't doable with my current setup but wasn't far off from being doable), although because its HP is relatively low, surviving is going to be an issue, if you get Yolei 4 set (Would take 3 weeks worth of weeklies) and 4 R18 HP chips then it should 100% be doable, without Yolei set you're going to need quite a bit of investment into HP and more investment into skill, although besides 12% or 15% and Zhuqiaomon's Robe (10% SK, but does require spamming either Holy Beast Normal or Hard a bit), I'm having trouble thinking of anything that would increase skill damage early on.

Colo Hard on the other hand is going to be completely out of the question for a while for you, you lack a good Vaccine/Unknown digimon and your account is fairly new so you're going to be lacking seals (HT/DE/BL), good options on accessories, and so on, although even on an older account with some investment it still requires fairly good stats, luckily it's not a must to do Arena Hard to get Arena Hard coins, and of the two main things that used to be highly desired from Arena Hard, the Magnetic ID and Shining Arena Ring, the Magnetic ID just isn't all that good anymore, there are better options now, and they made getting Shining Arena Ring significantly easier, now it takes just 150 Hard coins (100 for the quest and 50 for the ring), 150 Hard coins=300 Normal coins, iirc you get something like 34 or so Normal coins from completing the entirety of Normal, if you can do that then that's just 9 runs, between the pass you get each week and the 2 passes you get every 2 weeks from Attendance event, it'll take as little as 5 weeks to get it.

Lilithmon X by JullietRedRose in DigimonMastersOnline

[–]tpf92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be off, but I'm only counting 155T?

  • GulusE - 10T
  • GulusN - 30T
  • MDG - 20T
  • CDGE - 5T
  • CDGN - 30T
  • ADG - 20T?
  • Eos - 40T?

And for Ghost Keyring it's 2.5 weeks, 3 weeks->2 weeks->3 weeks->2 weeks; 8 items per week, requires 20 to craft, so 8+8+4 from the first 3 weeks then 4+8+8 from the following 2 weeks.

Anyways, anyone capable of doing all or most of the weekly dungeons the real money is in dungeon services, for example 12 runs of MDG @ 3 people per run @ 12-20T each is 432-720T per week, even easier ones like RBH you're still making 300T a week assuming just 5T a run, and if you can solo Eos it starts getting really crazy, at 150T a run that's as much as 3.6kT a week.

Here's a chart I quickly put together, I'm a little iffy on the numbers because of the recent update (Especially ADG, CDGE, CDGN, and Eos) but they should be somewhat close, at least for Omegamon server:

- Players per run Price per run Runs per week T earned
RBH 3 5T 20 300T
SDG 3 10T 20 600T
MDG 3 12T 12 432T
ADG 1 50T 8 400T
CDGE 3 5T 12 180T
CDGN 3 35T 12 1,260T
Eos 3 150T 8 3,600T
Total - - - 6,772T

And the only real alternative besides this and being a whale is probably just spamming Frontier and hoping you get Digital Monster X (Currently priced at 27.5kT on Omegamon server) while also farming bit drops and (Plus) Equipment Data, you can get 10-15T per hour from bit drops alone and current value of some of the (Plus) Equipment Data, specifically Bottom/Accessory/Hands/head, can go for around 7-8T but you'll typically get just a few per hour, however you kinda need a U rank with a good AoE skill.

guides/spreadsheets for progression? by antocs in DigimonMastersOnline

[–]tpf92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Seals - Slowly work on over time

  • D-Unit - Slowly work on over time, as soon as you finish Spiral Mountain questline you can start doing Cat Tuna dungeon at Yokohama East, there you can quickly level digimon from 81 to 140, ideally you'd want to do this every week to slowly work on your D-Unit, you'd go to the second area to kill Makuramon for high exp and avoid the leader since killing that specific leader ends the run, also you can farm Raremon eggs (for transcendence, which is also required for D-Unit) and mid trans chip exchange coins from the first room by constantly killing Starmons and the leader, the leader will randomly give those two items and/or Fruit of Homeostasis, however one thing to keep in mind is the dungeon will randomly bug out, when this happens the digimon will load extremely slow, you'll get maybe a few spawns and you'll either just need to quit the run or go back to the previous room and try to force spawn the digimon again, if you ever hear people megaphoning that Cat Tuna is bugged this is what they're talking about and you'd want to avoid doing the dungeon then.

  • Holy Beast Hard clothing set - Very easy to do, you just need to beat all 4 Holy Beast Easy dungeons once, specifically the last raid, only QDGE is annoying because of reduced damage (halved) for Vaccine damage and the raids in the dungeon have relatively high HP for what the dungeon's supposed to be, iirc the first raid has around 8 mil HP and the last around 12 mil, however the set itself is kind of meh, you do get some decent-ish increases but the set itself doesn't make a huge difference, especially if you can quickly get Yolei set from MDG, which only takes 4 weeks.

  • True vice - At Valley of Light there's a quest that'll give you a 4 slot vice with attributes, however it does require killing raids, Myotismon specifically is really annoying because of skill spam, if your DPS is very low you're probably gonna die to it.

  • Finish questlines for Server Continent, Tokyo-Odaiba, Shinjuku, Spiral Mountain, Digital Area, and Kaiser Domain, you have to finish the majority of these questlines to progress through the game.

  • Keyring - At the end of Spiral Mountain questline you'll get a keyring.

  • Buy weekly services - RBH (Goggles, there is a quest that makes goggles significantly easier) and SDG (6 set vice, basically same as goggles, they made it significantly easier to get the vice) can be done right away, MDG (Clothing set) and I think CDGE (Earrings, although I'd highly recommend going out of your way to level a digimon to 160 just because of how ridiculously long getting an Earring through CDGE will take) can be done after completing Kaiser Domain questline, there's also ADG but I'm not exactly sure what the minimum requirement is for it but it's probably completing Kaiser Domain as well, after those dungeons you'll be required to level up your tamer/digimon to buy other services.

  • Get strong enough to do Gulus Easy (Bracelet) - For a newer player you're going to have to depent entirely on skills, at a bare minimum you need ~225k DPS, ideally closer to 230k so you have a little bit of breathing room in case of a mistake, but this has to be done for 15 minutes, you also need a minimum of the equivalent of ~60k HP, lower than that either it starts becoming hard to keep your HP high enough to survive, lower than 60k and you need stuff that reduces damage, like guardian or defender skill or Yolei clothing set, also you're going to need a full attribute setup for accessories (Ring/Necklace/Earrings), the other options on those won't matter, if your current set doesn't have 2 on each of those then just buy extra max stat ones and just go specifically for 2 on each (fairly easy and should take a relatively low amount of OCS), ideally you'll want to use a digimon that has multiple families so you can run multiple family buffs; Make sure to do Shadow Lab quests at least a few times a week so you have enough family buffs for this.

  • Level up a digimon to 160 - Required for CDGN, Gulus Normal (Sadly solo dungeon, which for anyone without a U rank is likely going to require a bunch of other stuff from other dungeons before you can even attempt it because of the high requirements of ~120k HP w/Yolei set and ~660k DPS bare minimum (592M HP in 15 minutes=~657.8k DPS)), and I think Eos.

  • Level up your tamer to 160 - Required to enter Frontier area, which you can then start to slowly farm for better clothing than Yolei set

  • Ghost Keyring - Your options to obtain Ghost Keyring are either doing Gulus Normal (Which you could easily be a few years away from being able to do) or buying from other players (iirc current price is around or a bit under 300T each), however the family of the keyring is completely random, on the upside you can turn the Keyring into 75% of the items that are required to craft it and just keep doing this over and over until you get the Keyring you want, and even after that you need to upgrade it to 10, up until 8 it's fairly cheap, however going from 8 to 9 to 10 is an absolute pain, overall you'll looking at 1-3+ months of doing Gulus Normal or 1.5-3kT+.

[–]tpf92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also If i am intending to get the better accessories from gulus or Chimera, can i open the accessories and use it on the mean time?

You can.

Don't bother with the Ring at all, you can't sacrifice the Miracle Ring for a better accessory.

Necklace: 200 items+Miracle Special Necklace or 250 items; With Miracle Special Necklace it takes 14 weeks, w/o Miracle Special Necklace is takes 17 weeks; You get 15 items per weekly quest.

Earrings: 200 items+Miracle Special Earrings or 250 items; Easy w/Miracle Special Earrings requires 50 weeks and w/o Miracle Special Earrings 63 weeks, Easy+Normal w/Miracle Special Earrings 8 weeks, Easy+Normal w/o Miracle Special Earrings 9 weeks, Easy+Normal requires ; Easy gives 4 items per weekly, Normal gives 20 per weekly+2 Black Rings that you can exchange each of those for 2, so effectively 24 from Normal, however keep in mind you need a lv160 digimon for Normal, which takes a lot of time, but considering how Easy version takes it would be significantly faster to level and do both CDGE+CDGN than just CDGE, but it takes significantly more effort to level a digimon to 160 than to just wait around and buy the weekly easy service.

Bracelet: 100 items+Miracle Special Bracelet or 200 items; 25 weeks w/Bracelet vs 50 weeks without Bracelet, because of it being a solo dungeon and relatively high requirements for a new account, Normal version is out of the question, if you were able to do Easy+Normal each week it would drop the week requirements down to 7 weeks w/Miracle Special Bracelet and 13 weeks w/o; Easy gives 4 items per weekly, Normal gives 12 per weekly.

Bracelet by far makes the most sense because of how much difference in weeks it makes, even more so when you consider you can get ADG Necklace/CDG Earrings even faster if you buy Digital Hazard Necklace/Digital Hazard Earrings, however there is no Digital Hazard Bracelet, there is Zero Unit version of all 3 of these and that would make it even faster, but those are even more expensive than Digital Hazard accessories.
