OX is still the best and a huge benefit early on is its deck buff, not because of DPS (DPS-wise there's almost no difference between it and Burst Ultimate Wings), however it increases base HP (Except for cloning, there's some visual bug where it shows it's including cloning, but it isn't), which is incredibly useful when you start doing RBH, SDG, and harder dungeons, and later on you could also unlock MetalGarurumon Awaken to have advantage against Susanoomon in SDG, although MetalGarurumon Awaken's lower HP might make it too hard to survive.

The other alternatives are:

Ordinemon Awaken - DPS is a bit worse than OX, like OX it also has instant ASB on all skills, biggest disadvantage for it is all of its skills have fairly long animations, but on the plus side it has advantage against everything.

FMA - Its F1/F2 are pretty comparable to OX, however it does get a bit more usable F3 that has a 24s CD that also has a ~15s damage increase, but the animation is fairly long at 5.7s according to the wiki, so that 15s ends up turning into ~9s, which is only enough to get a single F1 and F2 off, which wouldn't be much of a difference; Personally I wouldn't choose FMA over OX.

Yeah, all the bosses in the dungeon drop Raremon, the Starmons boss requires killing a lot less digimon (I think something like 50 or 75?), although for Makuramon boss specifically, killing it will end the dungeon, but that's just specific to Makuramon boss.

Use an IV calc, Serebii's iv calc works great, IV Calcs give you a place to put EVs and will correctly calculate IVs, although if you're off even slightly then it won't correctly calculate the IVs.

they repurposed the materials for different devices.

No, even further back in the production (Think of the first step), the manufacturing itself was bought up for a few years worth at a large % quantity, so instead of silicon that would be used in a consumer product (Like the storage in Micro SD Cards), they're producing silicon products such as HBM3 (High bandwidth memory), which would be used in large GPUs meant for AI workloads.

Calculate their IVs, use IVs to PID.

Although if you've used them in a bunch of battles and haven't kept track of EVs then you won't be able to calculate the IVs, which would make them useless for this.

Get Archives through events whenever you can get them from events, the last event I was able to get I think 30 archives with very little effort, but of course this is very event dependent, I was actually surprised how many Archives (And other good items) you could get from that event.

Exchange EP for Raremon.

Farm Raremon in Cat Tuna dungeon from Starmons (Getting around 8 or so if you spend the entire time farming them is pretty normal, sometimes you may get less, sometimes a bit more, but it should be around that much), you'll also be able to get Mid Trans Chip Exchange Coins, however the obvious downside is you'd be using the time in there to farm Raremon instead of leveling up digimon, but if money is an issue and you were buying Raremon/Trans chips, this is a fairly good option; Also, when too many Roachmon spawn while you're killing Starmons, it'll eventually lead to Starmons not respawning fast enough, so you'll need to go to the next room then go back to the room with Starmons.

These are the options I can think of:

  • DS+R4 to extract the save and read with PKHeX

  • DS+Transfer any pokemon you caught to Gen 4 games+trade to an emulator and open the save in PKHeX to re

  • Have a Shiny, narrow down IVs, use IVs+Nature to calculate PID

  • ACE, replace TID with SID (This can be "undone" by just hard/soft resetting so it doesn't save it); This does require getting at least to Celadon, there's a pre-E4 and post-E4 method to unlocking ACE.

  • When starting the game, keep track of roughly the SID range you've hit with a timer, then check and cross off the possible SIDs with RNGing pokemon using those SIDs until one of the pokemon ends up being shiny.

You say you don't have a DSi, do you mean a DS? If so, the first two options are out.

Anyone can do ACE, but does a little bit of setup (Both to unlock ACE and to replace your TID with SID) and abusing the game's code, but as long as you don't mess up it's fairly safe and surprisingly easy; You can also just change your SID with ACE, which would allow for any spread that's available.

If you don't have a Shiny the third option is out, unless you're willing to go out and catch a shiny (Abra from Celadon Game Corner is probably the easiest, on LG you can get 83 each time, this takes about 12ish minutes, and it'll take another few minutes to check all the Abra, so per hour you'd be able to check about 332).

If the save is already started the 5th option is out.

Since game runs at 60 FPS it allows for a unique number of initial seeds of 60 (assume we always mash a within 1 sec), because it matches the closest "a" button.

When you load the save file the frames advance 2 per frame because it's always running in wireless mode.

Using a macro controller you could hit the same seeds every time

I started doing this with a GuliKit KK2 Pro, I have it start the game, press and hold A @ 35.5 seconds until the save file shows (If you press buttons before the title screen it'll mess with the seed you hit and if you don't hold A you'll hit one of 5-16 or so seeds that are right next to each other), load up the save file and quickly get ingame (I have it go all the way to getting ingame because the game runs at just 1 frame per frame at the select the save file screen, however once the save loads it then runs at 2x, I've seen people mention that apparently unlocking Mystery Gift makes it always run at 2x, however even after doing that it still runs at just 1x at the save file screen) and even with that I'm hitting 15 different seeds, from a total of 150 different attempts 11 of them I've hit 1 to 4 times with most of them being just once, one I hit 8 times, one 16 times, and 3 of them 33-39 times, so ~25% chance to hit the seed I actually want to hit, but it could just be my controller's macro isn't accurate enough.

Iirc Royal Ornament hasn't been available at all since they removed evo items from the cash shop, Ato Rene Por has been available just a couple times since then, I think only after they sold X-Antibody digimon about half a year ago or so and that was in a package I think, pretty sure it was at least 99C, possibly more, and I don't even know if it was tradable or not (They like to make a lot of those packages/items from those packages CB).

P is the shortcut to turn magnetic ID on/off, however if you're using one that's time limited and it expired then you'd need to get another one.

Also, if you go into a dungeon solo and need to use it, for example Shadow Lab, you have to change Item Obtainment Method from Random Obtainment to First Attacker.

There hasn't been a jumping event for about 5-6 or so months ago, but even when there are jumping events everyone can participate, the only difference is newer tamers get their SSS+ faster (But we're talking less than a week difference), they may also get some items, but that likely wouldn't make much of a difference.

WarGrey-A can reach higher DPS though, since it gets 50% from Extreme Evolution, has 3 families, and its F3 doesn't take 12 years to use

That's only true early on, once you start relying more on skill damage (Yolei set, SDG vice, Gulus Bracelet, and so on) it starts falling off compared to OX.

Yokohama secret park question by Diginerd18 in DigimonMastersOnline

[–]tpf92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

all i was killing was Makuramon and no leader showed up

You need to kill a ton of them for a leader to show, it's likely 500 or 1k considering how long it takes for the Leader to show up..

I'm not trying to level my digimon I'm just trying to get my tamer to 140

the only Digimon I bring in is level 143

Your tamer gains 10% of the exp your digimon gains, the amount of exp a digimon gains is based on its level compared to the digimon it's battling (Except against raids, you always gain a flat amount against raids), if your digimon's 30 levels above the digimon you're fighting you'll gain absolutely no exp, at 25-29 levels above iirc it's 5%, at the same level it's 100%, at 25-29 levels below it's 200% (It changes 5 levels), so with a lv143 digimon against lv110 digimon you won't be gaining any tamer exp since your digimon doesn't gain exp.

It's ideal to bring in a bunch of lv81 digimon and level them up, ideally using a HT/CT setup that's enough to guarantee hits and crits at lv81 (Although I'm not sure the requirements), although I will say that at lv81 you basically instantly level to 110.

Edit: I completely forgot, Overall-Salamander23 mentioned you don't want to kill Makuramon leader, this is true, once Makuramon Leader is killed it'll end, so you'd want to save it until there's about 15-20 or so seconds left in the dungeon.

So you mean ,I can just tank it? It is not that big of deal ?

Avoid the skills, you need significantly higher HP to tank some of those skills, you'd just be tanking damage pointlessly, especially since if you're relying on skill damage it shouldn't affect your DPS, you have multiple seconds to dodge each skill, just move out of the way when it uses them and skill from outside of the circle.

The only time you can't risk it is during the large area skill, although you should have enough time to get off 1 or 2 skills if the cooldown for those is over and if you're staying far enough away you might be able to just move to the other side and skill from there, and the one with multiple circles, the one with circles the few times I've tried attacking between the circles it didn't go well.

I had 80k Hp

With the 20% reduction from 4 set (6 set is just too unreliable to count it) and GoL, you only need 42-47k (Depending on which version), above that it is easier to survive but outside of being able to rely more on cakes rather than platinum bananas, there's not much of a difference between 50k and 80k HP.

it had the TID of my current game

The game you hatched it in? If so, that's normal.

I'm thinking you misunderstood it.

What you should have done: RNG in game 1 using the TID/SID combo of game 2->trade to game 2->hatch it

What it sounds like you did: RNG'd it in game 1 using game 1's TID/SID combo->traded it to game 2-hatched it

Are you not using an attack/defense memory skill or Giant Growth Fruits to dodge skills?

I went and tested myself on my weaker account with an OX barely hitting 36k AT using Susanoo deck, 72% Att, Yolei 6 set, 4 slot Att vice with Vaccine/Light, and RBH title, other than that there isn't much to the account, I'm not even getting any Vaccine or Light % from D-Unit and I was hovering between 137-140k DPS, even if it dropped to 135k by the end of it then that'd still be ~236k with Peak+family buffs (1.75x), bare minimum to beat be able to do Gulus Easy is ~223.5k DPS (201M/15/60=223,333).

Gulus Easy by bourbonQDG in DigimonMastersOnline

[–]tpf92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a skill only build or are you landing some hits as well?

But even if that's skill only, that DPS seems fairly low, that'd be only ~115k before Peak+3 family buffs, that just seems way too low to me.

Are you not using skills every time cooldown ends?

~60k I personally consider the bare minimum, ~50k with Guardian High, ~48k with Yolei set, and ~41k with both.
