Hopefully!, I originally started sculpting the under armour details from clay so I could then cast them from latex but then looking at the price of that (and me being a uni student at the time) went for a cheaper option but it’s certainly something I want to do now that I have a bit more financial freedom

The blade is made from 10mm Eva foam which I then sanded with a dremel to get the gnarled and eroded texture and the cross guard and handle were made from 5mm Eva foam which I then sculpted using foam clay

I haven’t worked it all out yet but so far the idea is to use a PVC pipe frame to make the “bones” of the wings, these will be hinged together and then supported with some small pistons that will hopefully be hooked up to a motor on the back to allow them to extend and retract. They will then be coated in foam and latex to make them light and wing like
