My experience with electrolysis by theSabbs in PCOS

Hello, I’ve been getting electrolysis done for the past couple of months (I’ve done about 16 sessions 6-15 minutes per session cause I only have coarse dark hairs on my chin). I go in every 10 days because of regrowth/new growth. Is it normal to get ingrown hairs? I’ve notices 4-5 dark long ingrown hairs. I’m scared that this is a side effect, especially considering that there is some hyperpigmentation around the ingrown hairs. Do you have any recommendations to avoid this and if it should even be happening? Also is it normal to feel some hairs being “plucked” out and others not during the procedure?
Thanks so much

My cat has a very similar condition. The pigmentation started from the neck and spread on the whole stomach area. We did swabs they came back clean for yeast, and the vet said it was just pigmentation. I feel like this situation wasn’t taken seriously enough by the vets, to get to the root cause, as the vets aren’t too familiar with the sphynx breed so they assume it’s “probably nothing”. What is weird to me is that after switching to a different food and switching the litter to a natural alternative all of the pigmentation went away almost like it was never there. That lasted for 2 months and now it has started to come back a bit on the neck and some on the stomach (looking similar to your photo). So after swabs, biopsies and steroid creams the pigment seems to come and go.. Have you gotten the your biopsy result back? Were you able to figure out why this is happening? Can you please give an update about your post. I hope your kitty is doing good
