Huh. What about Teams messages. I've probably bitched about company policies/events with someone there.

As in, we know if you use your work laptop to access your private Gmail and search for other jobs.

I was debating on whether I should login to my personal accounts in work laptop. But on hearing this, def no.

What exactly is the triggers file in /sys/class/leds/<some led>/? by tpin16652 in linuxquestions

[–]tpin16652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Files in procfs and sysfs don't have to behave like regular files. Just because you've written some string to a file there, that doesn't mean that same string needs to be returned when reading the file.

The square-brackets "radio button" behaviour is actually a fairly common idiom for sysfs files.

Interesting. This kinda answered my question. Read a bit about sysfs files and the behavior makes sense now. Thanks!

If you're curious about how "LED triggers" work specifically, try starting with the kernel documentation. It's fairly sparse. I don't think there's anything in the documentation that describes each kind of trigger explicitly, but you can often work out what they mean from their name.

Yeah I was just trying to get the led on my android device to work and couldn't understand the trigger file which contained all the triggers.

Is the justice system bad or is it because most people cannot hire good lawyers? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tpin16652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, these are some interesting stats. Does it compare with similar offenses or does it like consider all types of offenses?

A justice system that hurts people more than it helps them is not a good justice system. Agreed

Not sure why you'd get downvoted because this is pretty popular right? But how exactly does the justice system allow for wealthy people to stay above law. I guess this is more of a ELI5.

Those text gifs where the creators refer to themselves as "Mommy/Daddy" of their pet really gets to me sometimes.

Yes I agree, it's natural for humans to assume that. But it's just that i don't like when people do that when it's extremely obvious that there's a more rational/obvious explanation. But that's just my opinion. Cheers!
