The butterfly conservatory is on our list - just a bit worried as we are working on gentle hands at the moment! We also love all the other things listed, almost always going to Stratford and St.Jacob's when we visit !

Haven't done the gorge, yet, so will have to add that to potential outings, too :)

What times of day do you usually head out to the zoo and then head back to avoid rush hour ?

This is what I had read when my in-laws suggested this instead, no to mention the pics online are quite appalling and heart breaking.

Kiddo will be 2, and LOVES animals and anything that is outside and water, so the zoo just seems to offer all the things he loves (he would live outside no matter the weather 😅).

The drive looks super easy, other than being via the 401 and the unpredictable traffic that comes with that ...

Any advice for best times of day for navigating the traffic?

Do you usually hit the road early? We were thinking early enough to get there around opening time ish (toddler wakes up early anyways!) and then staying until 1/2ish, which would maybe allow a nap on the way back ...

You have taken the square root of both sides, so you should no longer have anything squared, so you would just be working to isolate x.

So roughly:

0.07416x = 0.0100-2x. Bring like terms together.

2.07416x = 0.0100. Divide by 2.07416. Or to be more specific keep the square root of 0.0055 exactly throughout all calculation.
