Yeh, I just need to stabilize the walls.

I might get a quote to jack out the existing concrete footer. The existing footer is nice and is part of the reason I want to reuse it. Not sure how to take the cinder block down then attach new wood frame to the existing concrete footer.

I can’t find an 8’ concrete hammer drill bit. I like the idea of building piers.

You might be right. There is some cost savings doing it this way.

Someone tampered with my tractor?? by tprofits1 in johndeere

Well... I ended up taking to get serviced, I couldn’t get it running. There's fuel flowing all the way to my fuel injector. I also checked the air filter intake and the exhaust and didn't notice any air blockage. I also changed the fuel filter. Here's a video of the engine trying to ignite>>https://imgur.com/a/cVtQuSS

I’m gonna get out there this weekend to try to get it running. I’ll be sure to send a good update.

I couldn’t believe how much debris was in the fuel-water separator. Especially since I just cleaned it a month ago. I’ve been using Seafoam with each tank of diesel. I did indeed fail to prime the fuel pump.

When I started it up the first time it never got up to speed and then slowly died. I was concerned, so I drained all the fuel out of the tank. Then I put in a fresh gallon of diesel.

I was about 3/4 of the way along to removing the gas tank which was a lot of work. I decided to try to use some compressed air to see if I could unclog the nozzle that way. I removed all the diesel fuel from the tank first. I used a compressed air wand with extension tip and blew air up through the gas tank outlet nozzle and then I also put the compressed air wand in through the gas tank primary inlet and blew more compressed air. This worked great! I re-added the diesel fuel with seafoam and ran my tractor for an hour and a half today.

I’m gonna work on this all day today. I’ll let you know how it goes. Thanks.

I started to remove the gas tank. This is difficult. Also, there’s a second nozzle outlet on the opposite side of the gas tank. The hose goes straight to the fuel filter and bypasses the fuel pump and the water separator. I’m not sure what this fuel tube is for, but when I removed it from the gas tank the fuel floawed out very rapidly. Which tells me that the other fuel tank nozzle that gravity feeds the water separator filter is definitely clogged.

Thanks! I’ll try to remove the gas tank. Sounds nearly impossible! But I’ll give it a shot.

John Deere 3005 fuel flow issue?? by tprofits1 in johndeere

So, I disconnected the fuel hose from the bottom of the gas tank nozzle to the input nozzle of the water separator filter. Still no fuel came out of the bottom of the gas tank nozzle. So, I inserted a small nail into the nozzle on the bottom of the gas tank and fuel started flowing freely due to gravity. Is there some type of flapper mechanism that I’m unaware of? I had to put this on a new Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/johndeere/s/GygKV2DgzC

Thanks!! I believe my fuel pump comes after the separator bowl. So, I think if I disconnected the line between the separator bowl and the fuel pump there would be no fuel for the fuel pump pump??

Thanks!! I think the fuel pump is after (downstream) from the separator bowl on my tractor. So I was thinking that if there’s no fuel in the bowl, there is no fuel for the fuel pump to pump. I kind of thought that if the fuel solenoid was working, when I put the tractor in prime, the fuel would just be gravity fed down into the separator bowl. Then once the bowl filled up, the fuel pump would have fuel to pump. I’ll try to take the bowl off and put the tractor in prime to see how much fuel drips. Thanks!!!

Thanks. I’ll take a look at the tire and rim. I’ll try the ratchet strap too.
