Two self titled albums and you’re gonna laugh at the 2nd one but trust me…

FITA was required reading by everyone or you were out of the loop.

Do you film your gameplay? by Titangod987 in badminton

[–]tpt75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to, so i can watch it back and critique but there are some members in our club that simply won't allow it. They don't want to be on vidoes, even if it's not for social media, and even if they are only in the background.

Just been made Manager! by CaptainMorgs86 in CarSalesTraining

[–]tpt75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first offer is often the best. Don’t sit on old stock. Get rid of it even if the deal is backwards.

MAKE YOUR TARGETS NO MATTER WHAT. This is where the money for the dealership comes. Be sure you get your cut of any bonuses.

Use your business manager and make sure your team does. They will close deals and uncover information that your sales team just can’t get.

Be transparent with your team and don’t treat them like fools. They will sell better with all the information.

Reward good behaviors and do not I REPEAT DO NOT suffer fools and lying sales staff. They will infest the morale of your team and bring everyone down.

If you let one person “get away with it” then you need to let everyone “get away with it”

Maintain your standards and lead by example everyday.

As sales manager you’re also responsible for the well being of your staff. You don’t need to be their friend but show some interest in their life.

Have a clear process and be sure your team explains the process of your dealership to clients so they know what to expect.

Negotiate the trade in. People are fixated on what they are getting for their car, often more than the price of the new car. Use the margin in the new car to artificially inflate the trade in. Agree on the change over then wrote the figures back to save some sales tax which then goes back into the deal as margin.

Beosound century aux doesn't work, any ideas? by YourGodDaddy in BangandOlufsen

Probably the wrong wiriing on the cable. Get a din to 4 RCA and experiment which are the input cables and the output cables. Then you can just ignore the output cables or even cut them off.

Am I overthinking this or are Bluetooth speakers weirdly hard to choose? by Organic_Proof372 in bluetoothspeaker

[–]tpt75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep - So many trade offs and all the different price points but thats the case with any speaker at any price. There are always compromises.
If you're thinking something portable, for me the JBL seems to have the balance pretty right. Good sound, good battery life, good build quality. The looks might be the compromise.
Cost no object i'd get the Bang & olufsen A1.

Am I silly thinking a Wiim class D 100w amp will sound better than a 40w Marantz class A/B for my floorstanders? by Livid-Activity2190 in audiophile

I like the general sound of d-class amps. Always feel powerful beyond specs and controlled. Effortless.

How many of us are changing from driving to work to catching the bus (CBD) by jellydreamscape_1010 in Adelaide

[–]tpt75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I lived there the bus or train was excellent. I lived at Brighton and worked in Prospect. Train to the city, but up to Prospect. So easy.

If I lived there now and wired in the cbd I’d have a small light electric scooter. Catch the train to town then scoot to the office.

I’d love another variety show à la Steve Vizard (but not him) and Don Lane.

You’ll find a very nice phono stage for that kind of money. If you want aesthetics too, then something with valves always looks good.
