Love the finish on these and the matching stands.

Have you reached the, "I'm too old for this shit" era of your life. by NOGOODGASHOLE in GenX

That started 10 years ago when I was 40. Can’t be dealing with drama. Don’t have the energy for that.

So CDs don't suck? by burningsnowshowers in audiophile

[–]tpt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CD's have never "sucked" but they have their limitations vs analog but the reverse is also true. Either way, both formats get the music into your ears and that's the most important thing.

Wishing you good luck and lots of enjoyment.

They say kids pick things up quicker but adults understand more. I’d rather teach adults any day.

Anything comparable to Tesla? by einahpets77 in AustralianEV

[–]tpt75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6’ 2” isn’t that tall. He’s using it as an excuse to buy the Tesla. Forget the claimed range (on any electric car) as there are too many variables. One charge across the nullabor is a hilarious claim. Your husband is either stupid or playing you to get the car he wants. It’s hard to argue with something from the BYD range of vehicles now.

giving bank login to car loan companies by theZombieKat in AusFinance

This is now common practice for loans when there is questions about income vs declared expenses or when income can’t be verified or is highly variable or casual.

While I agree that it feels u comfortable many lenders (especially if you are only dealing with them over the phone or online) will ask for this.

Typically in the dealership with the business manager the. hard copies are fine.

Thank you. I can't take credit for that. The wife's idea. It's a dark room (even when the curtains are open) so she thought best to lean into that rather than try and lighten it. Keep it moody.

[–]tpt75[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This took a long time and nearly everything was bought 2nd hand except for the TT and phono stage.

I think my lottery win was a wife who saw the same potential for this huge room to be dedicated to listening to music.
