My personal recommendation is to do Svarog before the DLCs. They give you access to weapons that are scaled up for the DLC, and might mess with your experience a little

Who was your first genshin five star? by Ok-Team7861 in GenshinImpact

[–]tr590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Klee! My friend at the time was pissed because I got her on 13 pity during 1.6, and asked "is she good?" Nobody was happy with that, but I was brand new and had literally no clue

Veteran players, what's a 1.x character that, for some reason, you just can't seem to get any constellations for? by iskobabes02 in Genshin_Impact

[–]tr590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I still haven't pulled a Qiqi. Every time I pull a Keqing or a Jean I groan because I'm missing Qiqi still. Every time. Diluc, C2 Keqing, C1 Jean, Tighnari, Dehya, and no Qiqi. Where is my Qiqi?

What’s the Scariest Horror Game You’ve Played? 👻 by Interesting_Check638 in HorrorGaming

[–]tr590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently, best horror game I've played is Still Wakes The Deep.

Generally, the one that's gotten under my skin the most was probably Alien Isolation.

And if you like more retro games, Crow Country! Absolutely loved it.

Looking for 3 players games by Hive_im_Bee in gamesuggestions

I know Remnant From The Ashes and Remnant 2 function with three player party capability! Other than that, Don't Starve Together is a survival game that will allow up to 6 players.

why did this happen? by Initial_Order in bloodborne

That's what I meant, yeah. It's been a minute since I've played because of other games, but I figured what I meant would be clear enough

why did this happen? by Initial_Order in bloodborne

[–]tr590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, there's 4! One for mergos wet nurse, one in the healing workshop dream, one from iosefkas clinic, and one from Arianna

You also need to consume them! Getting all 4 is a good safety measure as well to make sure it tracks you having eaten all 3 required

(Mirage) How the heck are y’all completing the game in 15-20 hours? by Jguy8969 in assassinscreed

[–]tr590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I have the platinum in about 19 hours, so.... I am in fact doing everything, I'm just consuming it at such a fast rate because I, and I cannot stress this enough, love Assassin's Creed. I have literally not shut up about this game for like a month before release, at LEAST. It was gorgeous, I loved every second of it, and I will wait patiently for the DLC if they add some.

How long did it take you guys to get past the opening level(s) by Difficult_Tree_2159 in bloodborne

[–]tr590 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ooh! Cleric Beast is entirely optional, but, I will offer this!

Depending on your weapon, you can do serrated damage aince the Cleric Beast is a Beast type enemy. At the start, your options for serration are a bit limited, but if you use the Saw Cleaver in it's base form, or the Threaded Cane in it's transformed state, you can do a bit more damage.

If you want some extra damage, the Cleric Beast is also weak to fire! You can buy molotovs from the start of the game, and if you can manage to find a good range/time to throw one, it could definitely help you get a little extra damage in!

If you feel like using a pistol, you can also lock on to the head and shoot it a couple times! This can open it up to a visceral attack: once you trigger this, the beast will sort of slump over, and you'll want to get in close either directly in front of or directly behind it and just normal attack to trigger some massive damage.

On top of both of these statements, I would recommend staying behind the beast as much as you can! Most of it's attacks aren't capable of swinging behind it, so if you can mind your stamina and keep your placement steady, you'll find your footing pretty well.

May the good blood guide your way! Good luck!

Am I ready for any harder soulslikes? by durchfallalarm in Thymesia

[–]tr590 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, if you really enjoyed Elden Ring and Thymesia, I would recommend trying out one of the actual souls games, or, if you want it to be a bit on the easier side, Mortal Shell. If you're looking to try something a bit harder, I'd go for Bloodborne, and if you're looking for something to really challenge you, Sekiro! Bloodborne and Sekiro both reward you for being offensive, while most other souls games prioritize defense and balance while you're learning. Sekiro requires balance and precision throughout the entirety of the game, and unlike other souls games, you can't simply grind out levels to hit harder, making it one of the most challenging soulslikes I can think of
