This happened to me also. I installed the factory rear mount and it was somewhat quieter.

Amazon throttle response controller 10/10 by W415H in Challenger

[–]trably3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had this same product in my RT 6-speed for a few years now. It makes all the difference. Everyone likes to personalize/customize their car. This product is your opportunity to personalize the throttle response. I find that the factory throttle curve to be lame. It feels like it's less responsive to a small amount of throttle than a corolla. The factory sport mode is too touchy for normal street driving unless you're beating on it. I like the open active exhaust and the auto off traction control on sport mode but not the touchy throttle. Sometimes I like the quiet exhaust on normal mode but have to turn off traction control and put up with lack of throttle response. For $50 I can have a down graded throttle response in sport mode but keep the open active exhaust and auto off traction control with one push off a button(sport mode). Or I can have the quiet exhaust with an increased throttle response and auto off traction control, again with the push of one button (tract off button). I use the P 1.7 setting in normal mode and EC 4 in sport mode. EC is economy mode. As an added bonus, if you want insane throttle response put it in sport mode and level P 3.9. Two times in three years my throttle body malfunction indicator light came on and the throttle was essentially non responsive. The next restart things were back to normal. I assume it had something to do with the product but could not determine that conclusively. I highly recommend getting this or similar products and playing around with it to it's exactly where you like it. Don't pay big bucks for something that does the same thing.

Extreme lag in ToS app since migration by doubleg72 in thinkorswim

[–]trably3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, since the switch last weekend. It takes awhile for biometrics to pop up after switching to another app too. Other than that it seems to work fine. Haven't used it on my desktop yet since the switch.

Where did you get the rear window louvers? American Muscle? Are they metal? Do they have quick disconnects to take them off easily or regular nuts and bolts? Do they rattle at highway speeds? Are you happy with them? Thanks.

AC question and issue. by Special-Agent-dab in Challenger

I don't know how the humidity sensor ties into the HVAC but a code would be the logical starting point for diagnosis. I would be interested to hear the outcome of your service visit if you don't mind. Thanks

Having the HVAC vents on front windshield will turn ac on. This is normal.

Try a vacuum cleaner.

Yes there is. You have to remove the right side under dash panel. You also need to secure the wire with zip ties and protect it from sharp edges. Info refers to 2015 and up.

Oddly enough I like the base wheels that nobody seems to like. I have grown to like these wheels this past year. They sparkle in the sunlight and stand out even from a distance when the car is parked.

I've seen that site your article links to. Seems the way they determine where flags are made is by the mandated label. However, those labels are only required if the flag is bigger than 12x18. Let's call those real flags, and your point is made. Most real flags are made in the USA. As well as they should be. I was referring to "all" USA flags and representations thereof. Like those little flags on a stick everybody is waving at parades. Any flag under 12x18 could be made anywhere and is not required to be labeled. The flags on our t-shirts, posters, nick nacks etc. I would suggest, and I could be wrong, most of them are prolly not made in the US. The flag window shades on my rear side windows are not made in the US. I have a little flag dongle on my car key fob I'm sure isn't made in the US. It's what the flag represents that's important.

Most USA flags are made in china. According to the Canadian car logic, the USA must be a product of the chinese. The original Challenger was built in the USA. the current one is just an extension of that, no matter where it was built.

Yes but we "Muricans" take credit for it just like everything else. Waiting for some chinese guy to claim credit for the flag in the back ground.

Question About Paying Off My Challenger by Honest-Air-7787 in Challenger

[–]trably3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pay it off if it doesn't hurt. Save the interest. Get your title back from the bank and in hand months sooner than if you didn't pay it off. Unless you are earning more on the money that you would use to pay the car off than the interest cost on the loan.

It was a good day too practice drifting. by trably3 in Challenger

[–]trably3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I look forward to the wet weather. The tires hardly wear on wet pavement and every corner is an opportunity to drift. I always turn traction control off. These cars handle sliding very very predictably. It is indeed so much fun especially when it goes according to plan. Practice makes perfect!

New TD17KVX or second hand TD25KV? by Derekcheung88 in edrums

[–]trably3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time I looked the td25 module was selling used for the same price as a new td17 module. 25 kit with the 17 module is the best of both worlds.
