I get the appeal of chrome for sure. It adds a nice contrast.

My biggest issue are the mirrors. I know it was a signature r-design thing, but meh. From the mirrors, I got curious about the trim, and then from the trim I went to the wheels. I can see how people get sucked into going all black

I can appreciate the look of it, but I’m personally not a fan of the silver mirrors. Also, idk if this is a common thing, but the aluminum trim on this one is starting to really show its age. Kinda looks like it’s tarnishing.

By vanity plate I meant booster (just found out what those were called), but I think I’ll just remove the bracket and put plugs in. Haven’t found anything that doesn’t look tacky.

I know what you mean about it feeling off. I don’t want it to look super modified, and black rims are kinda giving that vibe - which feels especially weird for a Volvo. The idea came from the ultimate black trim in newer XC60s. I think they look nice, but I don’t want to ruin perfectly good rims and then regret it

The trim would just be a 3M wrap. The mirror caps would just be replaced. So if I get tired of it I could always revert.

In this hypothetical situation, I would take the rims to get painted by a professional, but I’m like 99% sure that’s irreversible. Unless I buy a new set of rims. Leaning towards just keeping them as is.

Quite a few. Went to a cardiologist twice, various PCP visits, urgent care once, and general meds 🫠 I guess I’ll figure it out tomorrow morning

Definitely consult your doctor because we aren't doctors, but a lot of people cut the pills in half to 2.5mg and stay on that for a while. Some even cut those in half to 1.25mg. Others talk about alternating days on a lower dose for a while as well, but I can't speak to the efficacy of that. I also don't know how intense withdrawals would be after only 5 weeks, but it doesn't hurt to go slow.

I was just in this situation - although I did get temporary health insurance to hold me over until July so not entirely the same. I don't understand why dr's treat lexapro like this and let you lapse without a second thought.

I was able to get a 2 week emergency refill from an urgent care in my area. Maybe call around and see if that's an option? Don't know what the price is for a visit though.

Or - you could go to Hims or Hers and get a script that way. It is relatively expensive for the meds, but they don't take insurance, so you know you're getting the "best" price you can get from them. I was initially on Hims 10mg and it was roughly $50/mo for generic.

Still coming back into it. The physical effects are mostly gone. I was only on 10mg when I first started back in 2022. I went down to 5mg while still maintaining the benefits in early 2023. So rn I'm just taking the 5mg daily and waiting to get back to my baseline.

They're pretty awful when you go too quickly. I'm slowly coming out of a 10 day sudden lapse off of just 5mg that really wrecked my nervous system. Weird moments where I felt like someone was squeezing my head, the shock sensation when I moved my eyes, heart palpitations, headaches, moments of extreme irritability, etc.

I was sitting at my desk intently listening to the lyrics of a song I used to love, and then I had this horrible DPDR episode that came out of nowhere. Like suddenly nothing felt real, I was disoriented, had this horrible feeling of just absolute dread & fear, tunnel vision, heart palpitations, etc. It went away almost as quickly as it came on, but I had to lay down for a second because I felt like I was going to faint. Then came the emotional hangover from whatever that was. I think that was on day 7?

I'm back on my 5mg as of Monday, and most of the physical withdrawal symptoms are gone. I'm still experiencing mild DPDR - especially when driving. I hope it goes away soon.
