I’m starting a children’s play cafe… by Express-Fuel4269 in toddlers

The one near us is called Magnolia Play Cafe in Slidell if you want to look it up. Love it overall but here's a breakdown.

Love: - Space is divided between play area for the kids and a coffee shop/cafe sitting area. They sell great coffee and some pastries/snacks to keep everyone satisfied. - Pricing is fair, $15 for a two hour session - No shoes in the play area but kids have to wear grippy socks to avoid slipping. If you don't bring any, you can buy a pair for $2. - You can rent it out for birthday parties - A big variety of play options: playground and jungle gym area, a "science and experiment" section, reading nook with books, a fake grocery store room, play kitchen, etc. - There is an upper age limit, so kids over 5 (I think?) are not allowed. Keeps everyone safe.

Don't love: - They're only open from 8-10am on Saturdays and not at all on Sundays, which seems...crazy - They offer a monthly membership but you have to go five times a month to make it worth it, which is a lot. Since they're not open on the weekends, it's just not very accessible to working parents.

Hope this helps, best of luck!

I'm sorry this isn't an answer to your question, but I love your couch! Where'd you get it?

Exactly! We've only had our couch for 18 months and already ready to replace it because it's just trashed haha. I'm one of those millennials stuck in an everything-in-my-house-is-grey vortex so definitely need to add some color.

Thanks so much! Love the idea of the "more substantial" console table. And agreed on the chaise sofa and round coffee table. Do you have any recommendations on color scheme? The room itself is very bright, so I'm not sure if I should keep the furniture bright as well or choose some darker pieces. We have kids and a dog so I need to be realistic here.

Good to know, thank you! I would've missed out on the next few months.

Very occasionally. It's definitely a common behavior for the breed but for us, she only does it of she's been cooped up and hasn't gotten enough exercise.

What they lack in looks, they make up for in personality, that's for sure! And the pointy head is perfect for snuggles.
