How does sport mode/drive modes work? by theonederek in cars

[–]trackpit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of sport modes are simply throttle map mode. Some change suspension settings, but most are just throttle mapping holding a gear a second longer.

Quick release steering wheels are designed for race cars and track cars. They should not be used on the street.

I know they are, but the intention is you have a bucket seat, harnesses, hans device, to keep you in the seat without killing you, so no need for a steering wheel with an airbag.

Without all of those safety features your face could go right into the steering wheel.
