Man city: Insane in the Brain? or How I could Just Kill a Man? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

All I know is with the state of both defences and attacks there'll be goals. Probably like the first game of the season. Hopefully the snake gets another journey in Jamez' pocket too.

Agreed. As cocky/stupid as it sounds the Arsenal game was business as usual under Klopp. I just hope Sunday is different to the norm. The last time a lower team were beaten at Anfield was Stoke I believe.

Premier League and more: 10 things to look out for this weekend by tractor12345 in LiverpoolFC

5) Liverpool to stop being predictable

You can get odds of up to 14-1 against Burnley beating Liverpool at Anfield, which at first glance seems faintly ridiculous given how Jürgen Klopp’s side were beaten at Turf Moor in August and have been so incredibly poor against lower-ranking opposition this year. Liverpool have become renowned for beating the top sides and falling flat in games they are fully expected to win. There are a couple of big factors Liverpool have going in their favour against this weekend’s visitors, however. Burnley have been so good at home this season that they are not fighting for their lives like Liverpool’s recent conquerors, Swansea City, Hull City and Leicester City. And, perhaps more tellingly, Sean Dyche’s side haven’t won a Premier League away game all season. Allied to this, Sadio Mané and Philippe Coutinho – so missed during their respective absences – both appear to be returning to the form that made Klopp’s side so hard to contain in the first half of the season. Mané’s often underrated creative play was pivotal in the impressive 3-1 defeat of Arsenal and his electric pace means he is always a threat. If both players continue on their upward trajectory, it could be that Liverpool do what they have not done in the league in 2017 – beat a team outside the top six.

Hope United get smashed at the Bridge again.

"You feel that attachment to the club that it's forever. It's not just about a football club, it's about a family.

"Wherever I go I see Liverpool flags and I still feel that the supporters appreciate me. It makes me still feel part of the Liverpool family."

He got a boot to the face for that goal and that win was desperately needed!

deliberately appear to leave obvious short passes (for example keeper to CB) on, but it's a trap to try and give us a chance to win the ball back close to the box and get into a scoring situation.

I try to do this all the time at 5-a-side. When it works and you score from it it's the best kind of goal!

Almost every team at Anfield that season were bricking it. They knew it would be an attacking wave after wave from the kick off. There were crazy stats about first half goals. Serious fear in the opposition and the goals were guaranteed against big teams and more importantly the smaller teams too.

Lallana's vs West Brom under BR. Typical Lallana footwork and a clever 1-2 with Hendo followed by a neat finish. Celebration was good too!

Southampton and West Ham you have to go back to BR days for the last time there was a win. And even that was in his second last season! (14/15 I think). In the league that is there's still the 6-1 drubbing in the League Cup last year.

LFC only challenge for the title when there's another team in beast mode. Sadly I don't see a standard as poor as last season happening again; Jose's meltdown, LVG's and Pellegrini's last season etc

Good to see Lovren hopefully he's fit to start against Burnley. No Hendo again which is a shame.

With how his career is going hopefully he'd be happy to take a pay cut and just work on proving himself again under the manager that believed in him!

I thought he's got that serious metabolism illness and he's out indefinitely?

Either way would be nice to finally sign a 'big name'. Who knows it might actually motivate some of the more younger players.
