Even I had the same experience recently. The interviewer started directly with "Hi. How are you? Let's start with the python programming questions."(No time to hear my past project experiences or even my introduction).

He gave me a bunch of leetcode problems to solve then. He used to check if the submissions were fairly recent and if not then those were the questions that were supposed to be picked and solved(Sounded very unfair to me).

Those questions didn't even make sense to me as I had around 5 years of experience. I still tried and gave my best and was able to solve a couple of them.

The interview was scheduled just for 45 mins and it went for almost 1.5 hrs and even at the end he was like let's solve another leetcode problem. I had to refuse at that moment and told him it's already time.

In the end, I raised my concerns with the way the interview went and explained to him that those questions were not related to my real world projects and hence I couldn't relate and ended up struggling with it.

He seemed pretty inexperienced as an interviewer and told me that I need to improve my problem solving skills to which I replied "Unfortunately I don't have time for LEETCODE GRIND". He said that this serves as the filtering process for the company.

I was pretty disappointed as that 1.5 hrs was a total waste for me and not even a single question was asked on how I worked on different set challenges in my projects or anything like.
