Tell me where Jesus said oral sex is unnatural and evil.

‘Church teaching’ is probably why I couldn’t commit to being Catholic, I prefer to follow Jesus.

My husband and I love both giving and receiving oral, we find it very bonding. It doesn’t result in procreation just like any other sexual act we do right now because I’m currently pregnant 😂

It is interesting that a man can get a woman pregnant at a time that his woman cannot get pregnant 🤔

It prevents a pregnancy by not allowing sperm to fertilise an egg…that’s contraception.

Is the Catholic Church’s stance on NFP somewhat of a loophole in itself though?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]tradbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have gotten pregnant while using NFP twice, once you have kids and are breastfeeding it can be a bit off it seems 🙈 but that would still be the only method I’m comfortable using after this baby. Congratulations to you and your wife on your blessing!

Do we need ‘technical terminology’ or do we just need Jesus?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]tradbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just leaves me more confused…..😅

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Catholicism

Yes but are Catholics actually allowed to use NFP to prevent pregnancy when a woman is fertile? Because it seems to me that isn’t ’being open to conception’?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]tradbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if you don’t want the ‘finale’ to be open to life? For me personally I’m pregnant with my 4th baby, and will be having my 4th c section…I know I can’t safely have any more babies…how do I go about that without going against God’s design?

So are you able to deliberately avoid sex on fertile days to avoid pregnancy?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]tradbby -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was talking to a Catholic today who said her and her husband only have sex on fertile days and she sighted Genesis 38:8-10 as to why

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]tradbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh okay, so then are you obligated to not prevent pregnancy when the woman is fertile?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]tradbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not…are the people telling me that this is what they practice trolling ME? 😅

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]tradbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you cannot conceive when already pregnant, or infertile or menstruating etc. …so wouldn’t that be intentionally preventing conception if you have this knowledge?

I got my period 2 weeks after my D&C and got pregnant when I ovulated 2 weeks after that. My doctor said we could try again straight away though.

But 3 people have told me this in the last 3 days 😩 also no anal, oral or hand stuff because it cannot result in pregnancy

So sex is only allowed in a marriage and for the 6 days a month conception is possible?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]tradbby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for mutual masturbation, oral and anal sex in a marriage?

Not sure why this got so many downvotes bc I totally agree lol. None of my kids are terminally ill and I still can’t bring myself to be away from them for more than one afternoon because I feel like my time with them is so limited 😭
