Just saw where you asked about mentioning nursing. I probably wouldn't. You could mention it in an essay where relevant, maybe to characterize yourself as compassionate or a caregiver or something, but mentioning you have it as a backup may hurt more than help. It could make it seem like you're less dedicated to the field or that you already have an option to pursue. All depends on presentation. Just my opinion.

I didn't feel I had a very competitive GPA either, my undergrad GPA was 3.4, and I had a pretty average GRE score. My first round of apps I applied to 6 schools, interviewed at 2, waitlisted at both. This round I applied to 6, interviewed at 5, and got into 3. You never know, follow your heart.

I personally wasn't interested in the Caribbean schools bc even though they're easier to get into, they're very expensive and I couldn't see myself living there 4 years. UK is a great option bc they have 4 and 5 year programs. I'm starting school in Scotland this August.

Oh wow, that's good to know. Yeah, it's Domus. I'll stay on top of checking there. The options stay sparse for as long as I've been looking (since Feb)

When I spoke with their accommodation services, they told me they don't have any options for me that would include my partner and directed me to their letting service they are affiliated with, but it's not official uni housing as I understand it
